What's weird is that the 2014 12c spider went to low $200,000 mark a lot sooner than 2013 12c spider! Who wants to pay $200,000 on a 2013 spider while you can get a newer 2014 spider?

I meant using factory oem parts to reto fit manual in a performante, SV, LP640, etc as an example not necessarily only on 599. I know that people prefer original but manual are such a dinosaur nowadays. Would people really care when there are no manuals to offer one day?

They are flooding the market with these cars. In the end they are the same car with some minor changes.

Would potential buyer pay a premium if manual were retro fitted? Just wondering?

Nothing special! The trade in value for 2013 Mclaren MP4-12c spider is already at $175,000. I don't understand why they drop so much so quickly.

Looking at the carfax, it has been sitting in the show room for more than a year now. Looks like most people are fed up with the heavy depreciation! Looks like they are might be whole selling the 2013 coupe for $150,000 by next year. Yikes! Thanks for sharing!

No wonder the values on these Mclaren keep dropping. Talk about getting raped by the dealerships. Meanwhile the cheapest MP4 went through the auction for $121,000. I am seeing the same Mclaren inventories in front of Miller Motorcars all the time and it makes people wonder if they are selling their cars at all. A friend of mine only got $185,000 trade in value for his 2014 MP4 - 12C CONVERTIBLE, no wonder they are only asking $220,000 for a 2014 MP4 - 12C Spyder.

Agree 100%. I feel like the depreciation on those Mclarens are outpacing their performance. The same cars are sitting in the Miller Motors for more than a year.

My neighbor just traded his '13 coupe in for $170k with 3,000 miles.

In addition, you will see more people turning them in once those 2012 warranty expires. Thanks to Mclaren for raising their parts price by more than 100% back in April of this year. I don't understand why Mclaren would screw their customers so much.
