JoeDirt Report post Posted November 12, 2009 After reading some of the comments in the article and elsewhere, I never cease to be amazed how some people derive such glee at the misfortunes of others. I guess that it makes them feel better about their pitiful lot in life. equally fun is seeing the different and very wrong theories of why things (wrecks usually) happened. Couple I have seen on this one alone...... insurance gig........not, he just bought it 4 weeks ago going way too fast for so and so street. not this time

NDTHub Report post Posted November 13, 2009 "3 feet of water and left the engine running for 15 minutes before it died." Come on who are you fcuking kidding? What was the intent or what was he on? idiot! Maybe that was to ensure the engine was completely destroyed. That might have been the 'insurance' minded action he took, instead of the 'running off the road' part. That part, might have been a genuine accident. I'm speculation he reacted quickly, to write off the car completely, only after.

Mr. Vroom Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Someone caught the whole incident live on video. Taking a dive in the "Lambo"... http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Video-o...hing_719255.htm Nice find Elliot. Shit, after watching the vid, the accident seems kinda sketchy. He was travelling at a slow speed on a strait road in the world's most stable super car. I am only slightly exaggerating, but you could pick up your cell phone at 200 mph and that car would track straight ahead, no worries. NDTHub Report post Posted November 14, 2009 he must've been so impressed with the car: "Is there anything this car can not do ?? Let's see if I can drive it on water " The question is, does Bugatti now have to state in user manuals the 'water resistance' rating of the car? I will add, what a terrible waste of a fantastic car.
