Some facts on the 14 cylinder version:

Total engine weight: 2300 tons (The crankshaft alone weighs 300 tons.)

Length: 89 feet

Height: 44 feet

Maximum power: 108,920 hp at 102 rpm

Maximum torque: 5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm

I know it is, I don't work on it everyday but we work on our "Small Ones" every single day 20,000HP and so on ,and yes our job sucks :(

Usually they are used on Mega Tankers and the ships that carry containers, our 64 series, 640mm bore is also used on ships but we have them on power plants to produce electricity.

 

In 3 er world countrys a few people with money can install a small power plant the start up cost is 5 million, it will be paid in 5-6 years then is all profit if you have a small power plant with 4 engines you can generate 300-400 USD an hour x 7 days x 365 days.
