Perdition Report post Posted April 8, 2015 Glad to see someone is making some progress! Keep it up! My CB450 cafe build has stalled. Have a pile of parts sitting in the garage but not the hours in the day.
CallMeJarob Report post Posted April 24, 2015 Some progress! Got the valves in Got the frame "de-tabbed" and added the rear hoop Getting there New "Finserts" to prevent the fins on the jug from vibrating And the engine is pretty much finished! All thats left is to button her up and throw her in the frame. Timing and valve clearance set. Some special parts came back from plating, this is just a sneak peak: I'm obsessed with this little detail on the cam chain tensioner And I got a picture from Retro Moto on my custom one off gas tank being made! Needless to say I am in love! I also bought a 1972 Honda CL-175 to putt around downtown Dallas on since this wont be done for several more months and its riding season! Oh, and that house I put the offer on failed inspection miserably. Put three more offers on homes ALL over asking price and not one was accepted! As we speak my agent is drafting yet another offer on another home. This Dallas market is CRAZY hot right now!
CallMeJarob Report post Posted July 22, 2015 This thread and bike have been MIA! Since last time I bought a house and started a new business which has taken up 110% of my time so this bike has not been touched. I did however setup a nice workbench in my new garage and cut my frame to fit a cb750 frame kit (allows me to work on the engine while in the frame). And thats probably all for the next few months unfortunately!
