1. The original owner of this car was a multiple FD RX7 collector. He bought all his FDs since brand new.
2. R1 front lip and rear wing were dealer installled when new. Receipt included.
3. Compression checked 2 months ago at an RX7 specialty shop with receipt and is perfect at:
Front Rotor: 9.6 - 10 - 9.6 @ 282 RPM
Rear Rotor: 10.1 - 10.2 - 10.2 @ 281 RPM
4. No smoke on cold OR hot start OR during boost.
5. Perfect idle cold AND hot.
6. Fires up quick on hot start.
7. Always maintained by a rotary specialist shop it's entire life.

13,500 original miles, 100% original paint, showroom condition, BONE STOCK, 1 OWNER, perfect carfax/autocheck, red/black leather, compression test verified, Mazda RX7 Twin Turbo 5spd manual for sale. Fully maintained and up to date mechanically, paint meticulously detailed to perfection and sealed with Ceramic Pro. Interior is in basically new condition with no fading anywhere. Center panels are perfect and not worn or scratched. The original tires from 1993 are still on the car and drive fine amd do not lose any air. Every single feature of the car works perfect including but not limited to pop up headlights, air conditioning, sunroof, complete Bose stereo system. The car was never raced or abused by the 75 year old man who was the original owner. Whoever buys this car from Top Gear, will be the actual second owner. Every fluid is new, and brakes have almost full life left. The wheels are flawless and without pitting. Detailing was almost $1600 with sales tax. The entire car including the jams and undercarriage are perfection. All detailed invoices for the work are included. Perfect compression in the 9's and 10's, and no smoke on startup hot or cold. Perfect hot start as well. Just a no excuse and real deal car you can drive or collect. Books, manuals, tools, 3 keys included. It had an R1 front lip and wing installed when it was brand new, along with factory mazda wheel locks. These cars are beginning to really bring the money and this car is as perfect as they come. It sits under a satin cover and plugged into a trickle charger. This car is part of a large collection of 1990s Japan turbo cars. On consignment at a local high end dealer.

John

Museum piece. The condition is stunning. I would have thought they would be asking more than that since so few survive and even fewer aren't modded.

The pics don't even do it any justice...
It is too nice for me to drive and I don't care to collect cars anymore...

Wow I am a huge RX7 fan I honestly canít even remember how many Iíve owned from the series 3 all the way to the series 8 which was their final edition, if this red car was RHD Iíd furiously push the buy it now button, thatís a museum piece!

Mazda nailed the design, the FD was designed 25 years old and still looks fresh! Stunning example.

Thanks for the nice words guys! I've had 6 of them, all in the last 6 months or so...

I also have another 93' 5spd silver/black with 42k miles with all cooling and reliability mods done. It did have a bunch of nicks and minor scrapes, so I painted the entire car and refinished the wheels/calipers. It is truly perfect in every way, but I'm not scared to drive the silver one. The car is safe to drive hard and made 275rwhp. There no car that can compare to the feeling I get from an FD!

Check this blog post about FD's I just wrote for my new business.
