  1. Thanks, The ADAMS wax made a big difference in the how deep the paint shine is as well. The full DETAIL was worth the day of work with guidance from a Friend. Eye popping now...
  2. Update from the Summer of 2014, Oh what a Shine... Factory Wheels chromed for a Car Show. Original as possible.
  3. The K.I.S.S. approach... Great Solution for Pocket RASH! Now if I can just keep from hiding my keys from myself! Send more Pictures when you create other designs!
  4. If everything on the Internet is TRUE it sure seems like these values are all over the place. Condition with documentation and SNAP tests are important. I think even a Lamborghini Dealer with an Awesome Tech, knowing they used genuine factory parts with all Service Bulletins up to Date. Clutch, Clutch, Clutch... and no missing Keys and other factory Wheels... etc. Supply and Demand.
  5. Great Ride! RED too... Congrats ! :-)
  6. I do the forward / backward thing too... GOOD Luck with your detective work! I go with 96 backward thing, but both good numbers, all GOOD for :-), all GOOD for Her... We know.... Send Picts if it works OUT... BatmanDSM PS. Mine is on a TRUCK Some-where between Denver and Des Moines.... Can't Wait it has been a Month, but I visited during RECALL and 30K Work. Had to be there to witness and be a part of the transformation. Excellent Service, Highest Quality and Exceeded all my Expectations.
  7. I bought a driver... 29,080 miles...on my new purchase. Just completed the factory power steering upgrade Factory Recall by Lamborghini Dealer. It took 32 hours of labor and a KIT 1 for the recall based on my VIN. All braided Stainless steel lines were upgraded to solid aluminum, with new power steering pump and transmission cooler. Drivers side cooling fittings would not come loose so the air conditioning had to be evacuated to remove all of the necessary components to remove the assembly for additional corrosion soaking. The radiator has a 4 month back-order so breaking it is not an option. This happened on a higher mileage Gallardo 2 months before at this dealer and a skilled TIG welder was commissioned by Lamborgnini to repair the cracked fitting after discovering no stock was available world-wide. I spent about $8000 on various replacement parts and 30,000 mile items due...and Lamborghini did the Recall items for free (worth $15,000 to $20,000). Just had to get it to and from the dealer on my dime. Very satisfied with my dealer choice in Denver. Exceeded my expectations in every way... Did not think that was possible because I am OCD about my cars... The PPI and Clutch inspection are critical. SNAP test to download computer reports tells the story of the vehicle and any over heats or percentages in each range. Even number of Reave limiter counts. At least with the manual transmission releases a number of issues to be concerned with on a 2004. Average price for the number of miles but you can get a lot of value fom a well taken care of car. Any upgraded components or accessories and extra wheel sets can be a real plus. Realize most broken pieces of plastic may look like they would not cost much to replace but figure a guess $price times 10... Many simple pieces of plastic may cost $700 to $900 per piece on hand built cars like this... Just the skeleton that need replacing that holds the rear bumper on my G cost $2500 plus shipping of $600 and I installed it myself. Just a note to keep in mind... Many things are only sold as an assembly on a car of this age on a Supercar... But I still love it... You have to pay to PLAY! Steve in IOWA
  8. Which TT do you think is the best for your 2009? Underground Racing or Heifner or another package? I have a 2004 and wonder which one to go to when I have some disposable CASH... I am looking for performance and reliability. What about NOS? Your plans?
  9. That is the way I am doing mine... I am not on Jack Stands, but Cement Blocks Wrapped with Towels... "Redneck Style" I guess, l don't want the thing to knock the Stands over at this point with Both wheels off the Ground. Using two Identical, Low-Profile Jacks so the front end is up in the air at equal height. The Gallardo, you lift one side both wheels come off the ground... Never expected that! My first time experimenting with Jacking and detailing my first G. Did not know they were so ridged! Went back to Harbor Freight and got another Low-Profile 2 Ton to make sure they work correctly in harmony. BatmanDSM, IOWA
  10. Thanks for the tip... Do you take your wheels off and clean with water? Or jack it up, so you can even get under it and wash it every car wash? It took a drill bit to get the stuff out of mine... The back HOLES are the only ones I could not even get a tooth pick through?
  11. Fellow LamboPower.com, Technical Advisers... Just reaching out to see if you all clean out the cross drilled holes in your ROTORS? Mine weren't too bad on the front plate. But the Back Plate every HOLE was full of debris. Is this Normal? How often should you clean them out? Cleaned tonight... Picture shows the extracted content. I think I am going to Grind them (Lightly just to knock the slight ridges off) for the season and spray the edges with RED Ceramic Header Paint... I do it on my Corvette every two years but they are stock brakes. It makes them look Fantastic and Clean up well... Just a hint of TLC to show through the wheels... What say YOU?
  12. Great Ride, a repeat Customer too... By now you know what to look for and probably have all the connections... CONGRATULATIONS on the SPYDER...
  13. Waste gate adjustments, new settings that can now be dialed in to taste. Loud vs. Tame ! Also ended up with my 3rd set of Gallardo wheels, Black Powder Coated and not fine line striping them in Pearl Yellow to set off the Wheel... Cassiopeia with brand Nes Pirelli PZero-"L" So Set #1: 3 piece AVUS 40 bolt Chrome, turbo fan... Set#2 Chromed Cassiopeia... Set #3 Black Powder with Custom Color Match to the Unicorn. Visited the Boutique at West Coast Lamborgini. Must say, the VIP treatment has made a positive impression on possible 30K service and Recall. I will work on some video track time for my YouTube channel. Soon? Pending Vacation... BatmanDSM and the Boy Wonder.
  14. Hey, an update from the Roadtrip... Batman and Robin, Chicagoland.... Touring Autobahn Country Club today.. Yesterday visited Gold Coast downtown Chicago. Past my interview, very knowledgeable and were able to answer my questions. Gave me the VIP treatment. Jennifer in service is a rolling encyclopedia... Impressive! The regular Big Cityshop rate but the experience could make up the difference... Going to the "Birth Place of my UNICORN.." after our tour... I will know more about these guys and how they are able to integrate with the factory computer... Living the DREAM !
