Is anyone familiar with this exhaust system...it has a remote that can open ports at will?

I have it on my 08 and love the ability to switch from radical to quiet with a small remote when gumshoe is around. I have a rookie gopro video at the end of my Murci folder in the Flickr webpage below.

If you want to make sure you like the sound for your car, make sure you hear a pre-LP Murci with this exhaust. Exhaust systems sound very different on the LP-640 vs the Murci.

I have that exhaust on my 6.2 Murci. Switchable via vacuum solenoid operating the flaps. Goes from subtle to straight through. Oddly seems to eat gaskets on the central double pipe outlets from the silencers. My car them fails emissions test as air being sucked in. Spares readily available and reasonable cost. Exhaust was on the car when I got it. I have a Hybrid tip, part refinery pipe work, part LP tip. I'll post pics if interested. I think they were $9000 back in the day...

I never had a gasket issue with mine, so maybe that day will come and I am just lucky so far. Any other symptoms happen when the gasket fails bedsides failed smog? I just passed smog, so I suppose mine is still fine.

What the heck, coincidence/timing with your post? After two years of ownership I now get this warning light as shown below (#28 & 29) and I am thinking it may be related to what you mention in your post. Do you get a notice like this below when you get an emissions issue with your Cap exhaust?

After looking under my car to look at the gaskets you mention, I am thinking I may be having the issue like you mentioned with the gaskets as shown below and giving me error on the dash. It doesn't look like there are any holes, but I assume there may be as it is just too hard to see in that tight spot. Both sides have some deterioration.
