  1. No Gas Turbine? Dang 70s Sci-Fi. Besides batteries are for toys..
  2. Yep. Nothing wrong with the Lambo V12...I'm willing to bet that torque band on the TTV8 is quite a bit fatter...and 700 lb anchor kills it... You don't see NHRA Pro Stock guys weighing an absurd amount....regardless of the max effort n/a big blocks efficiency. Weight kills performance. But like a lot of others have mentioned it's still getting it with its numbers and portlyness. UGR have had more success with the smaller models for a reason...besides the initial cost of an Aventador....
  3. If you stay N/A you gonna have mimic this car (below) to keep up the much lighter turbo cars. That 509 lb foot of torque is only so capable of launching nearly 4k lbs around. Just no way around it....or Lamborghini is going to have to start a Big Block V12 program. 10 liters is a good start. Yes their are other factors, but that is the crux of the problem IMHO.
  4. Awesome Georgev12....hope I didn't insult ya. Not to take this thread off topic, but does anyone remember a highly modified black QV Countach with gold wheels 10 or 15 years ago for sale in the dupont registry? Within the add it claimed it beat Superbikes 0-150 mph or more. High Compression 9000+rpm Countach with a good exhaust would be Bliss.
  5. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giotto_Bizzarrini
  6. Yeah, RPM and Compression is key if you gonna stay NA. Just gotta have the fuel delivery and valve train under control. You building a Bizzarrini Monster Stroker by chance?
  7. I know the taboo of molesting such an iconic classic as a Countach that has shown considerable appreciation is out of the question for most, but I think it would be cool if someone did a Diablo 5.7/6.0 or Murcielago 6.2/6 speed swap in one. The cost & engineering might pose a challenge, not sure on dimensional constraints of the driveline, but at least the heartbeat is still Lamborghini. Nah...maybe UGR could engineer a not to evasive TT kit for one to keep up with the Jones' Benz. Seriously though like many here have mentioned, its the experience or more bluntly the unique RAW experience you don't get in most of the modern clinical supercars.
  8. Song is as cool as Sonny Crocket.... RIP
  9. Skinny Puppy past November and Severed Heads past September. Both were great, especially Puppy's light show. 1st concerts I've been to in a while.
  10. Yeah. I can see it....but I thought of this fella too......My Boomstick!
  11. Don't know about greatest, since music greatness is very subjective. Classic alternative (70s, 80s, early 90s), too me at least still is unmatched in its broad range of integrating genres into delicious pop noise art. Sorry folks modern hipsters Big Suck.
  12. Jeezus. ...just in automobiles alone there is more value than many country's GDP. I would be like Homer Simpson at an all you can eat buffet... Simply beautiful. Thanks for the pics!
  13. Just look at as a modern Bizzarrini 6200GT Strada. No harm in this case. Italian Coach work and Yankee Drivetrain. Nothing new there. De Tomaso, Bizzarrini, etc. Why hasn't anyone asked about a 5.3L/Chinese Turbo swap?
  14. With performance numbers like that a seven digit sell isn't out of the question, or did I miss the vintage UGR TT kit in the add.
  15. Love the two LP400s on the bottom of the page. Speaking of Countach's...whatever happened to this car? http://www.carpictures.com/vehicle/03LQM30...vole-green-1987 I thought M. Forbes had a black on gold one as well...but apparently he didn't. He did have a LM002 though.
