We would like to thank all of our clients that showed up to compete at the Wannagofast 1/2 mile event in Sulphur Springs, Texas just outside of Dallas. Day 1 & Day 2 events were won in Justin Herrick’s Underground Racing Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracan driven by KC Howeth. On day one 234 mph was enough to take the win. Day two was 238.6 mph for the win and set a new half mile world record! Sebastian's Underground Racing Audi R8 set a new R8 half mile record at 235 mph piloted by KC Howeth. Also, the Underground Racing TT Lamborghini Huracan bolt on set a DCT record at 202 mph driven by Kevin Howeth.

Below is our video of Justin’s Underground Racing Twin Turbo Huracan terrorizing the event. Click link to watch and hold on tight! More event videos coming soon.

^^^ Exactly!! Major Congrats to All

Just crazy to think this is on Toyo street tires and not slicks, etc.

Mind Blowing speeds for just a half-mile

congrats! those are ridiculous speeds for a 1/2 mile race! it's one thing to read about what went down at the airstrips, but i can't even begin to imagine what it would feel like to be in one/any of these cars that pull 200+ in the 1/2 mile.

didn't T1 break the GTR 1/2 mile record running 235mph on R888s? i think it's time to put this argument to sleep. run what you bring, no tears!

simply saying the R888s provided enough traction to get the T1 to 235, which is faster than any GTR has ever gone in the 1/2, thus nullifying the belief that GTRs can only compete when on drag radials...that's all. whether the car had the ability to stop and/or track straight is an entirely different story.

I think members here (in the past) were talking about GTR's not competing at TI with R888's. In the 1/2 mile the R888 is a better tire than the Drag Radial for the GTR IMO.

Congrats UG! 238.6 is incredible ! Everytime a GTR creeps up on you guys , you pull away.

Love how close to the cars are getting in the half mile. Any car that can do anything over 230 is insane.

the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that UGR is just playing games with everyone. KC basically said they couldve gone 240. so, to me, they are just taking turns with the customers' cars setting records. Herricks....Helms...Gidi...Herricks again. who's next? seabass? fowler?

chess...not checkers.

It was Holt, Cody x2, Stacy, Helms, Gidi, Justin. So happy for my customers.
