  1. Thanks for the help. Definitely not throwing a Cel. Have cleaned the two valves you are speaking about. Have not started the car since cleaning them so I will try today.
  2. Hi Does anyone know what the exhaust/muffler cover is made out of. I am also wanting to improve the look of it as it is flaking and looks a bit of an eye sore. It seems to be made of some fibrous material but I don't know what type. I have painted it a number of times with heat proof paint but it flakes off. Any ideas for improvement of the look. Thanks again for your help.
  3. Hi My 94VT has started taking along time to get to the idle of 1200 rpm. It idles at 2000rpm for twenty minutes and sometimes longer before it starts to drop. It drops to 1600rpm and then takes approximately 10 minutes to get to 1200rpm. It has only started doing this in the last 3 weeks. The temperature is fine while it is idling (90 degrees Celsius) so it isn't over heating. The car drives perfectly and no lights/error codes appear. Oil level is fine and coolant is fine. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Hi I have seen on this site before, information about rotors/brake discs for a 1994 VT. I am wanting to purchase drilled rotors this time and am wondering if someone can inform me of the aftermarket part and part number? I have 20's on the rear and 19's on the front if that information is required. I am running the car 2 wheel drive. Thanks again BAB
  5. Hi On my 94VT, I am having trouble replacing the bushings. I have removed them finally but putting the new ones in has turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. The control arms won't fit into the workshop press. Maybe I am not swearing enough. Is there another tool available? Any help would be appreciated. Regards BABVT
  6. Hi On my 94 Diablo, are the front and rear control arm bushings off any other vehicle (crossover part)? I think they are the same as some older Jaguars. Does anyone know if the bushes are off any other vehicle. Thanks again BABVT
  7. It looks like it would line up as a few here have been saying. The concern is the shifter. Talking to a guy over here, he said the mounts would be the biggest concern.
  8. Thanks for your help. i will let him know.
  9. No fascination. He knows of a box that he can get at a good price. Frankly, I wouldn't change what he has got. I think buying the Murci box at a good price has got him curious. Before he purchases, he just wanted to know if it will fit or not.
  10. I believe he can get his hands on a Murci transmission at a good price.
  11. Hi My mate is considering changing his 5 speed Diablo transmission to a 6 speed Murci transmission. My questions is, will the Murci transmission bolt straight in without any modification? He has a 97 SV. Thanks again Bruce
  12. Chad There is only one TPS. I thought the same as you but I could only hope. Thanks mate
  13. Hi On my 94 VT Diablo, can the potentiometer/TPS make the right side of the exhaust have a small miss (very faint popping noise) or would it affect both sides the same? The left side is perfect. Thanks Bruce
