yellomurci Report post Posted December 4, 2017 As the title says I am looking for recommendations for Auto insurance in Southern Florida. Delray area. I am moving my residency from NC to Florida, auto insurance in NC goes through Allstate, I contacted an allstate agent in Florida and got a quote but was wondering who else could give a competitive quote, my property insurance company will not quote on my Lambo. Looking at insuring Mercedes sl550, Lambo LP640 and Porsche 911. Thanks
SV-N-IT Report post Posted December 4, 2017 I'm just south of you and state farm has been the best for me by far!
Lambofan35 Report post Posted December 5, 2017 Regular insurance from any big carrier will be good. Geico has the lowest rates in south Florida FYI from the research I did. I would recommend someone personally which I’ll PM you now about.
sprite Report post Posted December 5, 2017 Will Allstate insure you? I was told they no longer insure any vehicles over $150k, but maybe it's just my area?
yellomurci Report post Posted December 6, 2017 They did quote in Florida, they pulled up my file in NC and based the quote on that, pretty close to 50% more than in NC though

Double Report post Posted December 7, 2017 Been with State Farm 35 years. I've shopped them a few times; no one came close. But then my Son turned 16 and got his driver's license and the party was over. Well that plus I'm up to 9 cars now. Anyway - if you're over 40 and have a fairly clean record: STATE FARM. I am over 40 with a clean DL. Allstate are the best so far, State farm quoted but were 20% higher and GEICO said they could not insure the Murci. I find it strange about GEICO as I have been told they are competitive on someone else's Lambo. Would you mind giving me an intro to your State Farm broker? CHADW Report post Posted December 8, 2017 Auto Owners will sometimes have good rates on high end cars. Ace/Chubb has great coverage and for some homeowners competitive rates.
