Recently, Underground Racing headed back to Dallas, Texas for the WannaGoFast Standing 1/2 Mile. We made our first full shakedown pass at 250.55 MPH in Drag965's yellow UR Lamborghini Huracan TT driven by Gidi. This Huracan still holds the current world record standing half mile at 257 mph! This marks only the third half mile event this TT Huracan has attended and every time it has exceeded 250 mph. On the third pass we had a mechanical failure and were unable to continue but our shakedown pass was more than enough to win the event. There were many fast exotics and GTRs competing as well. The second place car was a beautiful red T1 GTR piloted by Viren at 239 mph. TX2K18 next March will be the next event we plan to attend and we are looking forward to some great racing in Houston.

Several other clients attended WGF Dallas as well. Mike Yeager in his Gallardo went 226 mph taking back the 6 Speed Record from his UR teammate Moe. Mike Craig ran his first 200+ mph pass ever in his UR Stage 3 Huracan TT. Scott King in his TT Gallardo Superleggera and Rob in his TT Audi R8 also had some great passes in their Underground Racing builds. More videos coming soon!

They always do that at the higher speeds. We have only had one tire go down but we picked up something running down the runway.

Thanks for the info. Now force me into a bolt-on kit lol.
