  1. It does indeed. It was one hell of a long elevator ride up there, though.
  2. Well, that was the entire point with this particular series; to have an unreal, stylistic brightness about the series. I spent a hair under 32 hours editing the photos to look precisely how I envisioned the series from the beginning, so every aspect of each image has gone through intense, detailed scrutiny to ensure they're as perfect as I demanded. It is a super high-key style with minimal contrast, but I wanted the only pure blacks to be within the wheel wells and vents, and the rest of the photos to be varying levels of gray and white, with the red and yellow accents where necessary, but the overall feel to be pure white with suggestions of environmental detail. This processing style might not be for everyone, but believe me when I say that every last pixel was intentionally edited to look how it does today.
  3. I spent a grand total of two hours trying to decide what location would best suit the car, before I had a sudden epiphany and I KNEW where it had to take place. A week later, we were there. There simply isn't a better backdrop for a white 16M. For years, I've been wanting to both shoot in a location like this, and edit the set in this style- but I never found a room that would work. But then in May, within a week's time, I had both the car and the location essentially present themselves to me, and I finally got to pull off the shoot I've had in the back of my mind for all this time. The series is a bit truncated, compared to my usual work. Due to some unforeseen last minute complications, I only had about two hours with the car- as opposed to my usual 4-5. But I certainly made due.   6. This car was the initial reason I planned a trip through the northeast this May in the first place. I originally photographed the tuned orange MKI Gallardo in September for its new owner, and after the photos went online, the car's previous owner and I started talking about the possibility of photographing his soon-to-arrive replacement. We scheduled a shoot for the Spring, and nine months later, I drove up to New Jersey to finally meet Turbo50Mike and photograph his newly modified Verde Ithaca Gallardo LP 560-4.   8. Photographed mid-May on the coast of Long Island one afternoon, after covering an exotic rally hosted by the SL's owner, up in the Hamptons. Perfect car in a perfect location with perfect weather. Could not have asked for anything more. Except for maybe another day with the car...   10. The first of many photoshoots that I had while on my trip through the northeast in May. This was my first stop, on my drive up to New York (from New Orleans). It was a full day's session with two cars in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. The second car will make its appearance online shortly. It was a nice break from the modern exotics I've been photographing lately, to shoot the classic, original Viper RT/10. There's not too many cars that can pull off the three-spoke wheel successfully; I'm glad I finally got to shoot one. And in such beautiful condition. Literally, not a crease in the leather seats.   11. Commissioned back in early April here in New Orleans, for the owner who currently has the car up for sale, just in time for an upgrade to another certain four-door Porsche. I only just now finished editing the photos. I've been extremely busy shooting some very cool cars all up and down the east coast for the past month, so expect to see a ton of new photoshoots from me this summer-- and with some pretty unique cars, too... But for this particular session, I've been wanting to shoot a red GTS for some time now.
