ArytonS Report post Posted July 23, 2018 Bought a Noble M12 track toy after growing faster than my track-day miata would take me. I've had it about a year, just installed larger turbos, exhaust, fuel system and had it tuned by resident noble expert. Car dynoed at 484 whp, 422 lb ft of torque, and weighed in at 2,360 lbs with a full tank and full of fluids. Makes everything else feel heavy. Can post sheet if I get my old photo-hosting accounts back up.
Destructo Report post Posted July 23, 2018 What made you go Noble and not a Radical?
ArytonS Report post Posted July 24, 2018 Noble seemed better for me given: - I could still street-drive and enjoy - Its more forgiving to drive - It was more reasonable stepping stone between track car and downforce car Thanks - - Chris

Plastique999 Report post Posted July 24, 2018 Pics! Always respected that car, which has similar philosophies as Lotus.

I always wanted to street drive a radical as well, but far more impractical for sure. Have fun with it! Post some pictures when you can. Smash Boy Report post Posted July 24, 2018 It makes sense. I always wanted to street drive a radical as well, but far more impractical for sure. Have fun with it! Post some pictures when you can. I drove an SR1 on track. Awesome ride.....handling limits a lot higher than a typical exotic. I won't get the full appreciation for one until I drive a GT3 RS or Huracan Performante or 458 Speciale (or similar car) on track and compare the difference... High limits, but no warning.....a few guys kissed the wall mishandling power oversteer. So get some skidpad/drift training if you're not all the way there yet, and want to get the tail to step out safely. Racing clutches take a bit of getting used to, to drive them like they are normal cars. I stalled a lot driving one....and if you want it for the street, forget using a Hayabusa transmission lacking a reverse gear. Other than how low to the ground they are, hard to find any fault with them. Light as hell, tiny steering wheel, no power steering and very cheap for upkeep. TurboGallardo Report post Posted July 25, 2018 I had a Noble M400 for a while. Really liked the car but never tracked it. You will have an issue with heat soaking the intercooler. Also, like someone else said, don’t crash it. Not that a Radical would fare much better in a crash. Got any pics?

Here's some exterior shots: Only downside to the green is shows dirt so easily, but otherwise love the british-ness of it. I TIG welded my own exhaust for the car. Not worries about heat-soak intercooler, removal of the license plate and some ducting to isolate the low pressure area behind the car help draw air out. Car also has upgraded IC
