  1. This is GREAT news.... Thank you very much for that information.
  2. I am just adding this reply to get myself closer to the magic number of posts so that I can finally add pictures... Thanks
  3. I know we are getting a little off topic here. But I LOVE the fact that Im starting to really know my vehicle. I loved the fact that I can do a full oil and filter change in under 30 mins. The satisfaction is what gives me the buzz. As you stated, you did the SC... The fact YOU did that with your bare hands... You see, THATS the key (But it;s not for everyone of course and I respect that). Supa
  4. I bought the Blakvue dash cam. I managed to find an easy way t route it in the end. And now I can honestly say, that I could have a dash cam installed and wired up in 30 mins. I dont know why I am not able to post photo's on her. It could be due to me being a fairly new member. But I have a lot of info to share. From replacing my egear hydraulic lines, to replacing sensors etc.
  5. I tried to PM you and got an error message... Its not hard ti find me online though... Just google "Supa Tony" and you will find my site and my contact details. Happy to help. Supa
  6. Hey yes... Hit me up... I now know all about Egear hoses, Dash Cams, and a few other items so far...
  7. Hi Guys, Im trying to fit a dash cam to the Gallardo. BUT, I just CANNOT find a way to access from under the dash to the roof lining. I cannot seem to find a way to run the cables UP to the roof. Can anyone give me some tips here? Wiring it up was easy, but trying to get from under the dash, up the B Pillar is almost impossible. There must be another way. Thanks in advance
  8. Hi Guys, So.. when I need the lawn mowed, I hire the lawn mower guy. As its not worth my time, nor do I enjoy doing it. The Lambo is different... It's my new baby. So if my baby has an issue, im going to investigate myself. I love my car, so I got stuck into it myself. I cannot express the feeling I got, to have not only found the fault. But to fix it as well. I have since done an oil change and filter, and air filter service. And it took under an hour. Again, the feeling I got from it, was awesome. Next will be the clutch... Im looking forward to the challenge. To bond with the car, to really KNOW my car... It's exciting.. But I know this is not for everyone. Thanks for reading.
  9. It would have not been too hard to change them all. And that makes perfect sense. BUT, I wanted to make sure I could get the first one right... Now, I know I could change one out in under 30 minutes. Although this one hose, was visibly worse for ware compared to the others. PS: I was wanting to post pics, but it wont let me upload them from my phone.
  10. I found the culprit. It had a good split in it. Lambo wanted about 4k for a set of hoses. I disconnected the bad hose at the gearbox. Then took the right wheel off, wheel trim. This gave me access to where the egear hoses connect too. I disconnected the hose there and pulled it out. Took it to the local hose shop, they used the same end and made A brand new hose for $100. Cost me $50 for a litre of egear oil. Fitted the hose, bled the air from the system. Turned the ignition on, and went through the gears. All was good. Put the airbox, wheel arch and wheel on. Test drove and all is neck to normal. Costs.. $150 tow truck $50 oil $100 hose $48 for the really awesome bleeder. Total $348. Add $1 for the can of degreaser too. I had to spray the gearbox down and make it all shiny again.
  11. Well, IM going to keep you guys updated. Oil everywhere and it has sprayed all over the engine bay. It is egear oil, so hence I mentinoed the hose breaking.. But can I find the leak .. NOPE! Egear canister is dry. The egear lines are a PAIN in the ass to get from the gearbox to the junction box (Under the egear filler bottle). It looks like the sub frame will have to be removed along with a lot of other stuff. I DO have a QUESTION folks.. CAN THE CAR BE STARTED WITH NO AIR BOX? Im going to refill the egear bottle and start the car to find this leak. But it cant be done with the air box on the car. Thanks in advance for your replies. P.S : I am taking pics in my phone and will post them up soon.
  12. Driving tonight, and then all the gear lights started flashing... Then the car didnt change gears.. Oh no.. I stopped at the traffic lights and thats where it ended. Police helped me push it off the road, and I got a tow truck. Now to pull it apart and find the issue. Im going to fix this myself. It seems these hoses seem to blow often. Damn....
  13. Does anyone know if the "Diameter" and "Distance" of the mounting holes of the Rear wing have changed from 2004 upwards to 2014.? I am wanting to add a Superleggera wing to my 06 Gallardo, but they all say "To fit 08 to 14. Am I missing somthing with this? Thanks in advance for anyone who can assist. Supa
  14. Hi Guys. After years of Lotus's. I have my first Lambo... I cant stop driving it and cant stop the smile on my face. From DownUnder.
  15. Help needed. I have my 2006 Gallardo, and the past week I have seen a dried up puddle of coolant on the right side of the vehicle, just in front of the rear tyres. So my question is :Is there somthing I SHOULD be checking first? There may be a issue I am not aware of to check. It seems to be in line under the reservoir. Thanks in advance Supa Australia.
