Diablo's infamous clutch rod

Need the Diablo and LM experts' help please:

The Diablo is infamous for snapping its clutch rod; so much so that the much stronger after-market Custer rod has been the ideal choice as replacement. What about the later models of the LM002 since the later LM's have the Diablo drivetrain as oppose to the original Countach's.

According to LamboWeb, it only affects the Diablo's from 1995 onward. So is it safe to conclude the LM002 is not affected since it seized production in 1993.

Thoughts?

TIA

Ive never had a problem with the clutch rod on the 3 Diablos Ive owned. My current car does have the upgraded rod installed, presumably because the original one broke on the previous owner. Also Alex, had a 94 VT, and the rod on that car broke more than once I believe.
