I'm looking at this 2012 SL down the street from me here in Dallas, does anyone know this car and what do you think is a fair value for it?

VIN: ZHWGU7AJ3CLA12031

38,797 miles

If its Lambo Dallas it will be a solid car for sure. Bought 9 cars from them in the past 14 years. Perfect experience every time.

Not them

Took it to Norwood, has 40% clutch left.

The egear snap will tell you not only remaining clutch life, but also how many launches.

I was told by multiple techs launching is very hard on the egear. The LP clutches (2009 and later) have a great life span and I suppose with those miles 40% remaining isn't bad - but I would have figured at least 80,000 miles on an egear LP car. You can't run it to zero (or at least not recommended from what I understand) so remaining clutch life might realistically be closer to 30%.

Maybe the car has several launches which shortened clutch life? Or maybe driving style (too much time in reverse or creeping up steep hills, or stop/go traffic?).

It's a beautiful spec.

Good luck.

Looking thru it now I see it was launched 9 times. Thanks!

40% for those miles is awesome. Someone really knew how to baby it if that is the original clutch. Most of the wear comes off

new clutches in the first 5k miles. 60-70% left in the first 5k is normal so only 60% wear on that car is outstanding. I would have a tough

time buying a car with those miles from a non Lambo dealer that knows how to completely go through the car and make it right. Michael

at Norwood is the top two Lambo Techs in the nation in my opinion so Let him do your PPI if he hasn't already and you will be good. He worked

for Lambo Dallas 15 years.

I think this is the car at Exotics Racing (track rental company in Vegas). I have bought and sold their cars in the past and they are not necessary bad cars but they do live hard lives. This is consistent with the mileage they tend to dispose of them with.
