  1. I bought my current 2007 LP640 in 2016 and am working in restoring some items back to stock or close to stock. Just got the intakes restored to crinkle paint after they had been painted first yellow and then high gloss black. One of the two previous owners likely spent a grip of dough at a car stereo shop - changed the factory KENWOOD head unit to Alpine with backup camera - along with amps (and too much to list) plus a subwoofer behind the passenger seat. The amps and other gear in the front bonnet took up a lot of luggage space - if I can find pics of a with and without I will post later. Probably 4 or 5 inches of the front bonnet used for amps that did not provide any better sound and probably removed over 50 lbs of superfluous stuff. Josh @ Veloce Motorsports spent quite of bit of time removing the amps, subwoofer and a rats nest of wires. Afterward - to me at least - the stereo sounded the same. I am currently looking for a KENWOOD stereo that is either stock or a suitable newer generation replacement (as one would think technology has come a long way since the 2007 model year and the factory stereo was likely design years earlier). Not that I talk on the phone much - if at all - while driving (hard to hear with the Kreissieg exhaust), however, Bluetooth would be great. Any suggestions are appreciated.
  2. If I recall correctly, several years ago Roy Cats owned and sold a Murcielago that had previously been owned by a basketball player. Custom lower seat rails created more head room. You are not going to fit with a helmet. I'm 6'2" and while I've driven my Murci with a helmet - very uncomfortable. Ed Bolian is your height or taller. He has owned several Murci's. Maybe he will chime in.
  3. Great choice! I was lucky that 1 of the 2 previous owners of my LP640 installed Kreissieg exhaust. I absolutely love the sound! I may be biased - I do think it is the best sounding exhaust I've heard on an LP640.
  4. I don't know the story, but found pics of the front end in worse condition: https://poctra.com/2004-LAMBORGHINI-MURCIELAGO/id-Bd2WxTxiJlQ1xlMO/MIAMI-NORTH-FL
  5. Sorry to hear you are disappointed with your setup. I have not heard a Capristo on an LP640. I have Kreissieg on my LP640. Love the way it sounds. I installed LOC/LNB on my previous LP640 - enjoy the sound of the Kreissieg much more.
  6. I've owned 5 Murci's. 2 2002's, 1 2003, and 2 2007's. No reason at all not to get an LP640 over an early Murci. LP640 is second gen or "facelift" version of the car. Also 6.5L vs. 6.2L engine.
  7. I bought Krud Kutter and it seems to work well. I used a q-tip and lightly went over the sticky buttons. I will post more pictures later.
  8. Where is it advertised? I didn't see it on Autotrader or Cars.com...
  9. Thanks for the update to the board and getting the classic colors back! Looks great! What happened to the Lambo Power's Tried and Tested Lamborghinis section? Moved or removed?
  10. A horrible looking white replica Countach came to E@RTC (Exotics @ Redmond Town Center) a couple weeks ago on Italian Car Day. The owner was mad when he was not allowed to park in the center court with real Lamborghini's, Ferrari's etc. I didn't take any pics of it. Looked to be made from a Fiero or something...like many or most of them.
  11. Found a set for sale with tires...….in the UK... £6,513.68 http://www.supertweaks.com/lamborghini/lam...el-set-titanium
  12. You're welcome. Agreed that the gray on my orange car and the paint you had done on your orange car was just a bit too dark. Looked good, but I could tell it was darker than the factory titanium wheel color option. Not sure if the gray ever sold. Owner was a bit difficult and wanted the money wired to him to pay off the car vs. his bank who would give any overage to him and the title to the buyer. I did reach out to him today and asked if he still had it. I know the wheels on it are factory titanium Hercules.
  13. You could also trade your black set for a set of factory titanium wheels. I'm sure Roy Cats or another dealer has a set laying around.
