Blown SRT

She was delivered last November 15th...and has been sitting at the dealer until I get back home in April. She got a full body Expel, under door Lambo lights, window tints & clear markers.

Going in shortly, is a lowering kit, new wheels, DCTMS C/F steering wheel...and some audio upgrades. VF Engineering Blower or TT coming in fall!

I got it from Shardul @Ultimate PD...I have no idea who makes it, but it's ~1" front and ~1.25" rear...

Congrats on the purchase, they do need to be lowered the aesthetics improve so much, do you know if it affects the handling or any other driving characteristics of the car ?

I’d be worried about throwing unknown springs on a brand new car. Hopefully it doesn’t void your warranty.

Springs are not going to void warranty unless it happens that something in the suspension breaks, due to the them, which is highly unlikely in any case.

Shardul @ Ultimate PD has his own Huracan, and he has the springs installed.

I have lowering springs installed in a lot of my cars, and none have even had warranty issues as a result.

That's a benign issue, as benign as adding spacers, or changing wheels for a different size, offset etc...in my opinion, and from my experiences, as someone who does all of this routinely on all of my vehicles. Just my .02...YMMV

I’m just thinking back to the issues people had with different wheels on the murcie and how it threw off the ratios and angles with the AWD. I’d have to look, but I think the factor voided warranty on that, but I can’t be 100% off the top of my head. I’d say offsets on a AWD car could be an issue. I’ve got nothing against springs I’ve had them on cars as well and know plenty who do, I’m just more cautious, and to each their own. Car looks good though.

Warranty will be ok I am more worried about losing the driving characteristics, I will look more into it before I do it.

These guys are advertising using the Novitec (KW) lowering springs. I’d give them a call

to ask if the spring rates are specific to the HP.

I used these in my H, the KW Brand on my current R8 and Boxster Spyder and in all applications

the results are perfect.

KW is some of the best, i'd have no problem using those. I just get iffy about using no name brands.

Yeah, you don't buy that kind of car and want to negatively affect the driving characteristics. It's be a shame if it did more harm them good just for aesthetics.

Well, I installed Tech Art springs in my 911 TTS a month after I got it...and there was no negative impact on handling or ride comfort, but it sure looked a hell of a lot better lowered.

My '16 Plastic mess-06, has lowering / raising available through the factory bolts, without the need for any aftermarket parts. I dropped it down as far as I was able to, and aside from a marginally firmer ride, it had no negative impact.

Installed a lowering kit on one my FGT's and it made a nice difference in handling as well...just got better. Same on my Viper as well.

yes if done right, corner balanced etc I agree!

if its a shitty aftermarket kit that's not tested etc this can be a nightmare. both have happened to me..

Yeah, sounds like you've had good kits for most your rides. Hopefully it's a good one for the Huracan. Post some pictures when it's done!

They aren’t that expensive and an easily reversible mod, I will get a set and play around with it, I hate the all terrain look I’ve seen on some HPs :icon_mrgreen:
