As I understand, this is done on purpose. A few years ago I was told that a factory can be fined a lot of money in Europe if a vehicle is going faster than the reading on the speedo so the Euro cars are "programed" with the speed differential. Seemed a logical reason. As I understand, the faster you go, the bigger the spread. This is also true of BMW's- not mentioned. Dave

Why is FI a con? I've always wondered why the cabureted units are more popular. Can someone explain it to me? Is it simply the ability to adjust the fuel and air mixture? The cost to replace the injectors? Curious. Thanks! Dave

Interesting, I was thinking this low mileage (I've seen lower), well documented, full engine out service would be more like $105k-$110k. We're probably too far off to make a deal based on where we were yesterday. I believe I can get them to $115k, but seems too far away based on your feedback. Thank you for your honesty. Anything in particular I should be looking for, watchout for? Let me know any other thoughts guys. The value of your's will certainly come back- which I was I'm thinking of picking one up now.
