  1. Yeah, getting more and more common every day. I accept crypto at my law firm, and there was a post today on LT asking if anyone will sell their lambo for Bitcoin. Truly a major paradigm shift in progress.
  2. I sold my 2000 V8 TT earlier this year. Loved the car, real drivers car for sure. When I bought it a few years earlier, I knew it was rare, but didn't realize HOW rare. Over almost 30 years of production, there were less than 11,000 total Esprits produced. Less than 1800 total V8's. Worldwide! The problem I had was that I am not mechanically inclined beyond oil changes and maybe changing a starter, and finding a good mechanic who really knew this car was next to impossible in the mid-atlantic area. These are not toyota engines like the Elise, and plenty of "good" mechanics have caused more harm than good when working on these cars. These cars require a lot of attention and if you decide to get one, in addition to having a good service history, I highly recommend being a true "wrencher" or having an experienced Esprit mechanic within a 60 mi,e radius. All that said, I do miss her, just wish she had been as reliable and easy to maintain as the G. I highly recommend the Loustalk forum for good info and searching for a good example for sale.
  3. Best thing is just to google bitcoin and crypto currencies in general. There is a ton of fascinating info that can take you right down the rabbit hole.
  4. I found an old wallet I had from 2013. I have a user name and pw and wallet address (but no private key); problem is the user name and pw are for "bitchain" that doesnt seem to exist anymore. I think this was a login site (like coinbase) where you didnt control your private key, so now I think I'm screwed. I can see the address on blockchain.info and it still has the btc it it, but no way to access it Lesson: Always make sure you have the actual wallet address AND the private key. The private key is the only true way to make sure you can ALWAYS recover your funds from the blockchain.
  5. Well as long as its for things they need, food, diapers.....movies, music, express shipping.....maybe Lamborghini will start a lambos for clunkers program.
  6. With low mileage vehicles, should generally follow the yearly schedule regardless of mileage. Time or mileage whichever comes first. Fluids and other items, with the exception of spark plugs perhaps, age with time as well as wear with mileage. Better to err on the side of over-maintenance than risk the results of under-maintenance in my opinion.
  7. I love it, but it would be difficult to make the Performante ugly with any color..
  8. Thanks Porter. Glad to be here. i have been a member on several other forums, but it looks like quite a colorful group here.
  9. Is my Avatar "fixed" as required? What is the diff between Avatar and profile pic? Thanks.
