Anyone that members have used locally that have done a great job?

Probably looking at doing an epoxy. Normal size 2 car garage-approximately 20 x 20.

Buying a new home in a few weeks and want to do it before I put all of my shit inside of it.

Congrats on the new house Mikey!

Thanks bro! I wanted to move east, but my in laws have their asses planted in Kendall and won't move-and they watch my kids Monday-Friday and sometimes on the weekends, so stuck in this area for at least another 3 years or so. Now with 2 kids wanted something with more space and a pool. How you been bro?! Long time no see!

Congrats! Just DIY lazy ;) haha

I would but this type of thing is not my strong suit. Lol

Ive learned a long time ago that I end up paying more trying to do something myself that I have no experience in vs. paying someone to do it the right way from the get go.

TBH it's not THAT hard. I did it in one of my old houses in a three car garage. You clean the floor, use hydrochloride can acid to roughen the cement, you roller the paint, let it dry, do another layer, then drop in the flakes then finish w clear and the grip stuff if you want.

Anyone have someone they would recommend? Also need a local electrician that is good with recessed lighting. Have about 20-30 lights to install

Make sure the surface is prepped properly... or you will be doing it again. And temperature is important, but if you are in Florida, I doubt you will have those worries. If you call around to contractors that do industrial and commercial buildings, you might find one that would do the small job for cheap for some side work for their guys.

The Sherwin Williams commerical floor product is pretty good. If hilos and heavy equipment can drive on it, it will last in your garage. (and the cost is pretty much the same as the cheaper products)

I would NOT use the crap they sell at Home Depot - or use one of their installers. (been there, done that)
