1 or 2 year service required

I have a 2015 Aventador coupe and the in-service date was May 2015.(so just shy of 2 years) I only have 4000km on the odo and so far have only done the first service (coupon A). Dealer says I need the 2 year service but I think the 1 year service makes more sense given the mileage. There's a significant price difference between 1 year(pretty much only oil change and inspect) vs 2 year (Changing spark plugs, brake fluid..etc) I think changing spark plugs with 4000km doesn't make sense. Thoughts??

you are correct. just dealers gouging as usual. their pricing is ridiculous until you say you won't cop the going rate, then they reduce their prices. I get calls after 12 months saying my service is due on a car with 2000ks. I say no thanks. all my cars have gone 2 to 3 years between servicing due to minimal miles on the clock with no issues. and for those who say the brake fluid breaks down, I drive a road car on the road at road speeds. I'm not a weekend road racer.

I can see fluid changes maybe but spark plugs with 2,500 miles on the odo... c'mon. Don't some toyota honda models now come with spark plugs good for the lifetime of the car.

Does it void the warranty if I don't follow the exact maintenance schedule?

With low mileage vehicles, should generally follow the yearly schedule regardless of mileage. Time or mileage whichever comes first. Fluids and other items, with the exception of spark plugs perhaps, age with time as well as wear with mileage. Better to err on the side of over-maintenance than risk the results of under-maintenance in my opinion.

I completely agree, why risk it for the sake of few hundred dollars?

Sometimes I even do an oil change every 8mths. Singapore weather is warm throughout the year and I guess thats not good for our cars.
