  1. On the car and looks good. Thanks again. Mike
  2. I just had a DNN990HD and CMOS-310 camera installed. The install is very ghetto for now till I order the correct cage and modify the surround. As far as the 990HD goes I do have some disappointments. It takes about 45 seconds to operate after starting the car. The backup camera will operate immediately, but any other function has to wait till booted. If you are using an iPod the wait is even longer. About 1-1.5 minutes from the time you start the car till the first note will come out the speakers. In retrospect I wish I had gone with the 890HD, basically same unit with no Wi-Fi and no wait times. Perhaps as the customer base increases there will be firmware updates. Mike
  3. Mine did the same thing a few weeks ago, until this event I had never touched the disconnect or battery. My low fuel light come on with 1/2 a tank showing. Sure enough filling the tank sent the needle to 150% full. I left the key in the run position and turned the disconnect off, turned the key off, turned the disconnect back on, etc. Not sure of which sequence ultimately worked but the needle went back to normal and has behaved since. I would just mess around in each permeation of key position turning and disconnect position before taking anything apart. Regards, Mike
  4. Well 2002 and 2003 have the same part number for both the shifter and lever/handle. Only the 2004+ part number is available now which also requires the 2004+ lever/handle to go with it. The broken stub in the console measures between 10.00mm o.d. if someone with a 2004+ could measure their diameter (part going into the transmission, not the removable lever/handle) I would not be surprised if it is a larger diameter.
  5. Broke mine off too (2002). Just wondering if the failure mode of mine looks like everyone elses. I don't really see how there is enough to tap with out the shifter handle extending into the flat area for the shift gate. For those that tapped the stuby piece, did you also cut down the shifter handle? For now I had a sleeve turned to act like a cast on a broken arm.
  6. Like this? It was my dads but I unfortuntelly lost him in December so I am left to finish the assembly. I still have a lot of the chrome trim to put on as can be seen.
  7. Here is mine. Bought it back in May 2013.
