Chipster Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Definitely cool! This was the earliest "Supercar" I remember from when I was younger, along with the Vector. Can't imagine anyone but a collector buying it though and parking it. Can't imagine spending the kind of money it will go for when you could get a Veyron instead. Love the color too! LPDADDY Report post Posted May 14, 2014 I love the car and the color and I bet it is a blast to drive. My guess, just like my XJ200, it is a pain to find parts and that is huge turnoff for me. My jag is undergoing a pretty major restoration and just about every part that was worn out and needed replacement is either on back order, special order or not available. What I thought was going to be a 6 months job will most probably end up taking 18 months. And the parts that I am looking for are not major components, just little pieces here and there. We will probably get them made in house, I sort of give up on don law racing, they are very difficult to deal with.

RaginBull Report post Posted May 14, 2014 I love the EB110. Maurizio Reggiani was in charge of the design. It's a classic.

Kevin2772 Report post Posted May 14, 2014 I believe one company owns all the leftover parts for these as they bought them during the bugatti bankruptcy or something like that. I forget who it was but they ended up building a few EB110SS cars out of all the stuff they had from the factory stock they bought. Something along those lines. A company called Toscana-Motors GmbH in Germany bought all the remaining spares after Dauer (the company that originally bought all the spare EB110 tubs and parts) went under in 2008. Maybe worth a look? I love the EB110. Maurizio Reggiani was in charge of the design. It's a classic. I don't think that information is correct - Reggiani had nothing to do with it as far as I'm aware. Gandini penned the original design and the final spec was signed off by Giampaolo Benedini (designer of the Bugatti factory in Campogalliano). The EB110 is one of my favourite cars of all time. This, along with the XJ220, F1 and F50, are in my opinion, the first cars deserving of the term "hypercar" - exorbitant in price, specs, cache, and exclusivity. This GT is awesome but top dog is the Supersport (<20 made) or even better yet a Supersport LM (3 made). I wonder how much Canepa got for this one: http://www.canepa.com/inventory/collect/Bu...i%20EB110%20SS/ Nice to see these cars get the attention they deserve. Design of the engine and power train. Thank you - I knew that Gandini did the body design. In fact, I posted about that on IG a few weeks ago. I love the EB110! Bike Report post Posted May 20, 2014 I was at the auction in Monaco when this EB110GT sold for €280k. Not too bad for such a rare car. http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1066004
