How about this for an idea: The SVJ coupé gets unveiled to the public during Pebble Beach and then the Roadster comes in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show?

We've been taking a look at production numbers for the Aventador, and possibly how much SVJ Coupe and Roadster will be made ... with up to 6 carbon fiber tubs per day, they could possibly build about 1,800 Aventador each year, let's say some of those tubs have a flaw, so they can't be ... let's cap at 1,700 Aventador ... over the last few years they've managed to deliver on average about 1,200 V12 models per year ... for argument sake let us state they sell more now with the S and the SVJ, let's be positive ... 1,500 Aventador delivered in 2018.

By August the Aventador SVJ Coupe is shown ... either behind doors to a select group of VIP, or to the public ... and let's say they want to sell 600 like with the SV ... but I think the delivery time on any Aventador is still around 12 months at the moment ... so even those that sign a sales contract in August (I don't think all those 'signed' contracts we've seen are already official sales contracts ... are they?) ... the first Aventador SVJ Coupe will most likely not be delivered to a customer before the Summer of 2019.

In comes the Aventador SVJ Roadster ... let's say they want to sell 500 Roadster (again like the SV) and at best it is shown in Geneva, but I think it will be shown later ... that is a total of 1,100 Aventador SVJ added to the production line, which has been handling on average 1,200 units ... if the split Aventador S vs Aventador SVJ is indeed 'only' 25% it will take 3,300 Aventador S to build 1,100 Aventador SVJ ... total production V12 would be 4,400 units ... that is about 3 years of production (even at 1,500 units/year) ... which would mean the Aventador stays in production until at least 2021 ... perhaps even 2022.

2021~2022?? ~This is impossible。

Assuming they haven’t been stockpiling the chassis’s if they are under their max capacity for sales at which point it’s just how fast they can fit the parts to it if demand ramps up.

I would expect pretty quick delivery after it’s shown, end of this year I reckon for the first ones, but you may well know better than me. Then 21 for replacement with deliveries late that year.

Production is only capped by demand. If they could, Lambo would sell 2,000 - 3,000 Aventadors in a year but the market just isn't there.

You don't think Lamborghini would want to artificially cap #s?

Demand always dictates numbers, if Lambo could sell 100,000 Aventadors and could make money on every one of them they'd build additional factory space or they would start making them in Germany at one of VAG's plants.

IMHO there should be an artificial cap somewhere.

Otherwise the tired "Lambo is an Audi" joke becomes reality.

Porsche is the almost-but-not-quite exotic marque for that reason. Making a CGT or 918 in limited #s doesn't erase the fact that they make tons of run of the mill 911s, Cayennes, Boxsters, Caymans, etc.

Personally I think Lamborghini and Ferrari are safe from that territory, mostly because they don't sell anything under $100-150k, but when you introduce SUVs (and possibly sedans) which were unthinkable 10 years ago, it might be a valid concern.

I wouldn't exactly call 918 a small number either.

I've read on IG that a few lucky HR Owen customers have seen the almost production ready SVJ at the factory and there's rumors of a one off ultra limited Lambo been built alongside the SVJ. Interesting times ahead.

A limited edition vehicle will be produced, price unknown but likely 2MM+, we've seen this before with Reventon, Veneno, Centenario. It's always been V12 vehicle reskinned. Will let you decide if it's worth it.

Can you legally drive a LHD in your country?

Over here it doesn't matter if it's LHD (our standard) or RHD ... as long as the car is legally imported

That’s because you live in a civilized country, I don’t so we can only drive RHD cars :icon_mrgreen:

SVJ reskinned with styling that will likely carry over to A replacement...

It will be interesting to see, none of the LE have really grabbed me so far.

The one I’d love more than anything else wouod be the Sesto Elemento ideally with a DCT V12 but I’d also take the V10 :headbang:

I have some mods I'd like done for purely cosmetic reasons. I wonder if they would make them as a one off?

You mean this one? I have heard there are likely several one-off projects.

For enough cash, yes they will
