  1. I love my 2002 6-speed. These cars are uncompromising but have a ton of character and road presence. I’d be hard pressed to say there is an experience that can reliacate a mid mounted V12 right behind your head. I drive mine every weekend in the nice weather. Keeping it in tip top shape is not cheap, but not as expensive as most folks would have you believe. I’ve had to replace two throttle bodies which were a pain, but nothing too crazy
  2. I don't know anything about the history of the green car in Mass, but I've seen it in person and it appears to be very clean. Not modified in any way and looks to be in great condition.

  5. I can't speak for all model years, but I've replaced the batteries on the key fob for my '02 and it did not require reprogramming.
  6. The previous owner of my car re-did certain parts of the interior to refresh the look. I must say it really came out beautiful and I'd recommend this highly to early Murcie owner's that are looking refresh the look of their car. I believe it was done by Bible's Auto Interiors in Orlando, FL. Here are some pics:

Did you see this entry on the carfax: 11/30/2012 8,754 Lamborghini Palm Beach West Palm Beach, FL 561-370-7953 Blower motor replaced/repaired I'm not exactly sure what 'blower motor replaced/repaired' means. Could be something as simple as fixing the A/C, or perhaps the entire engine was repaired or rebuilt? Not too sure, perhaps others can shed some light. The car looks really clean otherwise! Could be a great deal for someone.
  8. Definitely make sure that you get a PPI done. I don't personally know anything about the '03 that's listed in Bellevue. However, a car with 9k miles over 13 years will likely need a few things as it has been sitting for most of it's life. I'd want to take a look specifically at leaking from suspension, steering rack and oil filter. I'd also want to make sure the coolant hoses are still good. Also, sometimes the relays on the rear fans get oxidized and may need to be replaced. These are just some of the common issues that owner's encounter on these cars. Good luck on getting your hands on one, it's very likely these cars will experience an upswing in value over the next few years.

  10. If you believe that a manual LP640 is only worth $25-$30k more than an E-gear car because an aftermarket conversion is possible, you are dreaming. Maybe you should talk to the guys who are paying $2.5-$3m for convertible Hemi Cudas coming straight from the factory. Perhaps they are unaware that they could cut the top off of a coupe for significantly less lol

  12. I think you're missing one major part of the equation which is that pre-LP model Murcies, specifically 02-03 only came in 6-speed manual. I won't speak to a retitled LP640, but non-issue MANUAL LP640s sell north of $285k, which has brought up the value of the early model 3-pedal cars.
  13. I'm sorry, but BCFromFL I think you are way off base in terms of pricing on these cars. I agree that $150k is a bit steep on this particular example, but $110k even for a car with an accident history low based on current market conditions. Anyway, just my 2c
