Man, I hope this site does'nt go the Lambo-talk direction

I was a member of that forum long ago and came to this one after being banned by JRV when he decided to become a hall monitor. You should have the freedom to bring attention fairly to dishonesty in business deals when it involves our members cars. Mods should not be mother hens and Allan should be the only one to say that " this will never happen again " when someone has such a post . If you do honest business then you don't have to worry about this site becoming a weapon against you, plain and simple. I have sold two Diablos to members on this site and it was done with the utmost of honesty and integrity. You have not seen my name come into question. If it did, I would certainly respond to an accusation against me promptly. I remember a ferrari owner having a issue with Ben's warranty company in the past and posting it. Ben did a very stand up job of handling the situation and not hiding from it. He handled the situation with class, promptly and all got to see. It was a credit to him not a weapon against him. It is all about accountability and these days there is very little of that dignity around.

If you do honest business then you don't have to worry about this site becoming a weapon against you, plain and simple. .

What prevents me, (hypothetically) for instance from saying YOU cheated me in a business deal? You never sent me those widgets you promised you rat bastard!

Of course, we've never met. We've never spoken on the phone. Our only interaction has been here. We've had NO business dealings what so ever. But knowing no more than your name and address or phone number (and I know that info for literally dozens of members here) I can TOTALLY accuse them of ANYTHING and there is NOTHING they can do to rectify the situation.... ESPECIALLY, if I am a phantom poster and my identity is unknown....

I have done business with several members and am concerned when a situation like this comes up an both parties dont respond in a class matter to resolve it. But in my opinion, these internet threads become he said, she said debates, with the most believable party being the most eloquent typist. None of us were around during the instance, so none of us would ever be able to know all the details. Personally, I think this issue between Abolfz will be resolved between the 2 parties .

All members should feel comfortable posting on this site without being subjected to unreasonable attacks from other posters or members.When that situation changes,i believe it is time for the mods to step in.
