This year was another great one for Underground Racing with many innovations, event wins, World Records set and most importantly many very happy customers. As this year comes to an end it is with great pleasure that we reveal our newest product for 2017 that will further the capabilities of our race proven twin turbo system as we enter the new year. We introduce you to the Underground Racing V10 Lamborghini CNC Billet Block.

Underground Racing in conjunction with Proline Race Engines and our CNC machinist for over the last year have designed a fully water cooled dry-sleeve CNC billet V10 Lamborghini block. To protect our innovative design strategies the picture provided only shows the block at a certain view from a stage of production earlier this year.

Underground Racing is very proud that up to this point all of our accomplishments have been achieved using only OEM stock engine blocks. The billet block was not used in ANY of our builds to this point. Accomplishments from this year such as the multiple Standing 1/2 Mile World Records with the most recent being at 247 MPH, the first and only 7 second 1/4 mile Lamborghini and the Texas Invitational King of the Streets Championship with a record setting speed of 220 MPH. Again, all of these we achieved using stock blocks! Considering our Teams proven extraordinary ability to make these engines live using stock blocks we will leave it to your imagination of what is to come during the new year.

Good times! DP posted the same thing this morning. I'm sure there are proprietary changes, and this sure won't help keep their cars from spinning out. :icon_mrgreen:

We are gonna see crazy things next year. You thought up to now was crazy, this is next level. Can see the writing on the wall for X3 with 2600+ whp

The hand full of front mount turbo GTR´s with 80+mm turbos are up to 2500WHP+ by now.

I have a feeling this HP arms race wont stop....3000WHP anyone? LOL

Game over.

It was already....

How much more power does the billet block allow for? You guys are the pinnacle with not even a close second. Very, very impressive.

Billet blocks are stronger and more stable to handle under higher load, timing and boost. Mechanically, it will also allow bigger 1/2" to 9/16" head studs for more bite for 50+ psi of boost. It's also more forgiving under detonation. Under-squared (more stroke, small bore) can use more rpms. Anyways, 3000+ hp here we come!!! Increase that life insurance and make it as big as the balls who will have one! Lol!

What a beautiful piece of engineering. Do billet blocks have any negative impact on daily driving or streetability.

Thanks. This block was designed to be used on the street. Its fully water cooled even though its a dry-sleeve like the stock block. The trick is in the way it was machined. Its nice to have Proline Racing in our corner. I wish I could share pics of what we did on the other side. If any of our competitors saw what we did, I think they would scarp their billet block project and start over. ;) After studying other billet race blocks of ALL makes, I have never seen one done like this.

Keep in mind, this picture is near 6 months old. When we decided to release this Billet block project, I asked Proline Racing if they could send me a picture that wouldn't show any trade secrets, that is what they sent me to post up. Not shown in the picture is the lower billet part of the block which has an improved oiling strategy. They wouldn't let me share that picture either.

Dallas Performances thoughts on UGR's billet block :

They are quite the losers.

Let's just keep the topic on UndergroundRacing. Bringing up shit about DP is really Lame to be honest. UR is the best, no need to bring up other shops.

Honestly comparing whose block is better is a waste of time. Look at the results, that is what matters.

We all know the results... UGR #1

Taylor is a nice guy and you guys are just being plan dicks. UGR does have the Lamborghini records but that is no reason to act this way. I would rather see both of these new blocks in cars racing next year. Competition is a great thing it makes you push the limits and further the sport. 2017 will be a great racing year and I cant wait to start.
