Underground Racing Report post Posted September 19, 2017 Once again Mohammad’s Underground Racing DCT Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracan resets its own record! Our previous best Lamborghini DCT speed was 225 mph at the WannaGoFast event in Virginia. A few weeks ago hoping to break into the 230 mph barrier we entered Mohammad’s ( aka Drag965 ) DCT Huracan into the Shift-Sector Airstrip Attack standing half mile event at Marion, Indiana. At Indiana with KC Howeth piloting the Huracan it ran 217, 227 and 233 MPH! This is one of our favorite current projects as it’s been very challenging to perfect the clutch setup to allow it to hold 2,200 whp and maintain the smooth stock drive ability. I want to also add that this is the same transmission we have used since we started competing with this Huracan and with zero failures. This newest clutch setup held all the power we threw at it with ease. We are very proud of what we have accomplished with our DCT Lamborghini and Audi R8s. Especially with the number of competitors that have vigorously been attempting to take down the Lamborghini DCT records we hold. We were the first with the Lamborghini DCT to break into the 200, 210, 220 and now 230 MPH barrier in the standing half mile. We look forward to continuing to see how far we can go with this platform. Special thanks to John Reed, Proline Racing, Precision Turbo, the entire Team at Underground Racing and Drag965! KaiatEliteMS Report post Posted September 19, 2017 No sign or sound of slippage unlike other tuners' DCT Huracans. Congrats as always!
