911 Singer/Williams

Pricing is ridiculous. I preferred Singers when they were more understated. Williams is hardly an engineering brand I would want to hitch my wagon to based on their decades long malaise in F1. Interior sans rev counter is pretty bitching though. Sycophant presenter justifying the price by stating Singer is making the most "historically accurate" 911 LOL.

super cool, but I'm with you on the previous more understated singers. This one is BADASS though. However that price tag hurts.

I had a long conversation last weekend with a friend of mine who is major figure in sports car racing about the Singer Porsche , I will not name my friend as he is about to start a similar program with another make . I was puzzled by the price of the Singer , it seems it starts at around a million and can go as high as 2 million with the Williams motor , he says they are making 1 to 2 cars a month and there is a 2 year backlog . In other words , lots of fcuk you money out there , the cars are magnificent and the finish is second to none , but , when all is said , it still is a 911 and no 911 in my eyes is worth 1 million , never mind 2 million

It would be amazing to see a "Singer" Miura, basically a reimagined Miura. NOT that miura concept of several years ago.

The Miura is too valuable to retro mod ,911 ‘s are dime a dozen . It won’t be MB like fortis is alluding to . The donor vehicle , whatever the make , has to be relatively cheap to begin with and somewhat desirable , past or present

Always tells it exactly the way it is, straight, unabashed and precisely to the point. And I couldn't agree with it more!

Can they do one for a 600 Pullman? I'll be sold if they can. Nothing compares to a dictator's car especially one with modern tech underneath. :icon_mrgreen: :icon_thumleft:

Especially the long wheelbase . Not going to happen , no market for it

Kinda puts the $800k RUF CTR that is a modern day 964 Turbo in perspective.

I agree the base cars will have to be cheap.

I didn’t think you were talking about MB, I just remembered that German company which works on MB, I saw their display at the Frankfurt Motorshow, their work was fantastic. I always wanted a 60’s 190 SL rebuilt to brand new specification.

:(

VCR they will build it for you if you take your own car in, reach out to them, they were willing to do the 190SL but I didn’t really like their price 😂
