LA_Brit Report post Posted November 17, 2013 My latest purchase: 2007 (uk date of registration) FGT with all four options. It's stock for now bar an accufab exhaust, which sounds epic. The car is huge on UK roads and pulling out of junctions requires caution but i'm sure i'll get used to it! The car is absolutely stunning, can't wait to drive it tomorrow! Super sexy key…replacing that with an aftermarket one stat!

2007gallardo Report post Posted November 17, 2013 Enjoy the most overbuilt car of the past 20 years!! Great machine. Agreed. I know of a FGT that uses 100% stock tranny except for clutch and half shafts and puts out well over 2000 hp. No other stock tranny that I know of can handle 4 times the stock hp. sprite Report post Posted November 17, 2013 What's the yellow bag" Did it come with the original Ford GT car cover bag as well or is that missing? Also are you keeping it stock or doing pulley/tune on it? The upgrade really wakes the car up.

LA_Brit Report post Posted November 18, 2013 Congrats! How does it compare to the LP560? Apples and oranges... It's a monster: I can't get over how easy it is to drive compared to other supercars. Aside from it's sheer size it's comfortable, not jerky when accelerating in low gears and is very happy in second at 30mph or so in traffic where the LP560 was always slightly jerky and felt highly strung. When you put your foot down in the FGT...wow it's crazy - the torque makes a huge difference versus 99% of other stock supercars as it's effortless! There's an aftermarket exhaust which is an accufab one and it's mega, the burble off throttle is hilarious - just makes me laugh out loud! Phenomenal car and i can see why it has a cult following amongst owners. Very glad i didn't go for the Aventador Roadster to be honest, think this is more fun for me at this point. Pulley/tune, yes. Accufab TB? Why? Looks great. But not going to do much/anything, particularly at that hp level.
