whiteout Report post Posted April 13, 2011 Seems like a great combo, Aston's have always been down on power, but spot on with style. Is this the same ESX that did all the Subaru performance in the mid '00s? Nick

lambo128 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 IMO Aston Martin's body styles are the hottest. Great lines! To make them faster is a plus.Good for you. I am currently looking to buy one myself to repace the Carrera as a daily driver. I prefer the silver or black.
Jalpa_Mike Report post Posted December 5, 2011 Every time I see a post talking about the Aston Martin "V8 Vantage", I always think of the older models from the 70's & 80's. I wanted one of these so bad back in the 80's my teeth hurt. My wife and I got to go through the factory on a tour with Roger Stowers back in 1987. Amazing to see one being built by hand. rmrmd1956 Report post Posted December 11, 2015 Piggyback long gone. Now tuned through stock ECU with bigger injectors, bigger MAFs with custom intake, boost-a-pump, headers/complete CATless exhaust. 10.5 pounds boost, stock block/pistons/heads
XSNRGY Report post Posted April 23, 2017 Piggyback long gone. Now tuned through stock ECU with bigger injectors, bigger MAFs with custom intake, boost-a-pump, headers/complete CATless exhaust. 10.5 pounds boost, stock block/pistons/heads I know this is an old post but I usually post on Lambotalk.com and cant seem to access it of late, so my turn now. Impressive numbers you have here, nice car too. NOW, that F@#$WIT who had a go at you on the first post back in '09......... What a twat, you gotta wonder how the gene pool hasn't caught up with him. This is an enthusiasts site not a F%$#WIT site for non humans. I would love to use full profanity here but its not what intelligent human beings do. You always get the haters and the more money some "losers" have the more some of them tend to be full of shit. All I have to say is AWD is for me now - although I do miss my RWD supercharged V8 HSV. JanDaMan Report post Posted April 23, 2017 With 6.8 psi boost and stock motor and exhaust I've got 519HP and 378TQ at the wheels. Sounds better than stock. I drove a stock Vantage V8 a few years ago when looking for more of a daily driver, and all I could think was "where's the beef?" My old $5K Maserati Biturbo beat the pants off it. So I went and bought an MBZ SL65 RENNtech and crapped my pants when I hit the gas, so that made me happy & I bought that instead. Lowered it with ADV.1 wheels and so that sported the appearance out more. However the style of the Vantage is so nice I just wish it had the power without the overwhelming dollars for the V12 vs V8. I just wonder how the supercharger on your car would do here in CA where they scrutinize everything to get your car slogged. I love engine mods, but hate the smog issues. It doesn't matter even if you are clean at the pipes as the engine set up will be scrutinized.
