Bentley Supersports or a 2013+ GT Speed?

Really have an itch for a luxury car with four seats. My first priority is comfort but secondly power. I've driven the V8s and really prefer the extra 100+hp of the GT speed. I haven't driven the supersports yet but I hear they are a little rougher ride? Also, it's hard to beat the new body style. Another factor is how well the supersports have held their value where the GT Speed still has a ways to go with depreciation. This is probably the third most important factor to me...

Would consider an S63 coupe but those depreciate even worse! But love the new tech on them. Obviously leaps and bounds better. But I also hate that the styling is a little dull and hardly distinguishable from a c class, not that image means anything to me (mean that sincerely)...

Anyone have any thoughts. Any other over the top luxury cars I'm missing? The Wraith did very little for me when I test drove. Just too over the top in the looks department... Appreciate your input!

I did a couple hundred miles in a Speed this weekend. I have driven a slew of other Continentals, but that was the first speed. Man, I was impressed. The power on demand is impressive, it is smooth, no real turbo lag, and I love the AWD. I would take a used Speed over a SS, personally, but that is just me. The SS was designed with a harsher suspension, and it isn't a sports car to speak.

That said, I did 1k miles in a FF last week and I loved it.

I test drove a 2010 SS earlier this year. I loved it actually. Ride didn't feel bad at all to me but I'm not used to anything super smooth riding anyways. If I had not bought the G, that's what I was leaning towards. I'm sure a newer speed would be nice but the interior on the SS is awesome.

FF is fantastic.

I'm glad I am not alone! I couldn't have been more impressed with it. Also, supremely comfortable for me. I did 13 hours in it, traffic, rain, the whole 9, and it was great.

Looked at both, speed was better for everything imo, except possibly looks.

Ss unless it's got comfort seats is not a comfortable car, but I guess it's all relative.

Had the speed 18 months it's not exciting to drive but it's fast and comfy and so lovely to drive calmly for everyday use.

It's is also surprisingly fast and just so effortless.

FF is fantastic.

It sure is... Having a hard time spending $180k on one over a newer less mile GT speed. I personally thing the CGT is the prettier of the two. But you're right, driving an FF is as good to me as a 458.

Anyone with experience with an S63 coupe?

I have "heard" it is very anti climactic. I am sure it is fast, but I have heard it is a little boring. Heard the tech inside it is amazing though.

If it was 5 seater I'd have one today.

Also for such a big car don't you think it's quite cramped inside in particular at the back?

I agree with you the FF is very expensive and ugly as sin :icon_mrgreen:

I had a SS with comfort seats for a bit. Very nice ride. Comfort and power! Comfort seats are hard to find. I vote SS if you can find one with comfort seats.
