It's been good for the Lamborghinis on the run. Only Bill Wu's Murcielago has had difficulty. The Gallardos are all running strong... even after one of the black ones put on a clutch-smoke show in Times Square.

Was about $65... until I left it on and got pulled over by a cop in Michigan who claimed it as a trophy. Whoops.

:-) Yeah, that's a prety cool hack. The best story of the week so far: I bought a car yesterday so my wife can do the Bullrun with us tomorrow. Gotta love it.

Honestly, I do not know what the route is. Lots of rumours are swirling, but if we were to hit Chicago, it'd probably be on 7/23... Just based on distance. If we take a southern route, though, it's not gonna be likely that we'll hit Chicago. Who knows -- and that's part of the fun.

Last year, my wife Keri and I ran the first leg of the Bullrun. It was an amazing event and we were VERY disappointed that we did not run the entire event. You can see a few pictures from last years event here. This year, I'm doing the whole trip. NY to LA. Leaving on Saturday the 22nd. Arriving in LA on... well... I'm not really sure when. I'll be piloting the white Gallardo SE with my pal Rory. Our team is called "Los Matadors". The folks from Lamborghini of Beverly Hills, a Lambo-Power Sponsor, will also be running a car or two. I think they've got a Gallardo Spyder. Sadly, Keri's partner bailed and she is unable to go on the event. I'll be posting pictures on Flickr... I'll be shooting some video... that may make it on to VOD Cars... Rory will be blogging for Spike TV. (but since they are fools you cannot link to pages on Spike TV's web site so I'll probably be blogging, too somewhere. At the moment, my Gallardo is getting some electronics prepped for the event at Shoreline Motoring and tomorrow it'll be transported to Lamborghini of Beverly Hills for an oil service prior to being shipped to NYC for the event. I'll post here when I update photos and stuff to check out during the event. The details of the event are still a bit clouded, but we do know that we are starting from Times Square at 10am on Saturday the 22nd. Please feel free to come down to the starting line on Saturday. The cars this year are sick. The starting event last year was wonderful. Please do come down and say hi. Note to Photographers: I've suggested that all the photos from the Bullrun make it to Flickr and get tagged as "Bullrun 2006". That's how mine will be tagged and that's how many of the Bullrunners will be putting up their photos. If any Lambo-Power folks are gonna be in NY before the event, PM me. I may be able to weasel you into a party or two. Look for my first photos tomorrow of the Gallardo...

You might want to change that first line. COPPA's for protecting children under the age of 13 from marketers. COPA is for protecting children online... but even that does not work the way you'd think/want. In all honesty, just say no kids. If they lie to get in... then... well... you'll get sued anyway if someone sees something they don't like. :-)
