  1. Last episode of Series 22: Jeremy Clarkson's final appearance on Top Gear will be shown on 28 June, it has been announced. The episode will be a 75-minute edition, airing at 20:00 BST on BBC Two, to conclude series 22. It will be made up of two films shot before Clarkson was suspended from the show and eventually sacked, with co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May presenting links from the studio.
  2. Three years deal and all new presenters.
  3. It's usually filmed on the day of broadcast so I doubt it.
  4. BBC2 just had a new trailer for Top Gear coming soon with May, Hammond & Clarkson. This is new footage, so presumably these are the unseen episodes from Series 22 which have now been finished.
  5. Fair play, those look really good. Is there a protective coating to try and stop wear, especially on the floor?
  6. The Top Gear set has been dismantled and most of it has been packed up and put in storage. Even if the BBC find replacements for the presenter(s), it doesn't look like they are expecting things to be sorted out in the near future.
  7. UK press seem to have got some information that the BBC will sack Clarkson tomorrow (Wednesday). Hope they are wrong.
  8. The BBC's inquiry into Clarkson's Top Gear 'fracas' is only into its second day. Nothing has been determined as yet.
  9. I was watching that live on ITV4 and it took me a while to realize what Lamela had actually done. Had to wait for the slow-motion to actually take it in. Absolutely amazing goal. There's footage of him scoring another when he was much younger, and apparently he does this sort of thing quite a bit in training.
  10. I certainly wouldn't want Mario at Spurs.
  11. Just a Gareth Bale fan really! For me, yes, goal of the season. He ran from his own half with the ball, at full speed, nearly got barged into the crowd and yet still outpaced the opposing player, from so far off the pitch, in about the 85th minute, and still slotted the ball past the oncoming keeper at an acute angle. I may be biased, (Bale comes from about 20 miles from me, so quite local), but leaving that aside, still GOTS.
  12. I wish that as in English! Bale was about 2.5 to 3M off the pitch and still annihilated the Barcelona player. It was also near the end of the game which made his run even more astonishing.
  13. Oh yes. He did virtually identical move about a month ago in a Wales game against Iceland, but it was on the right wing. Iceland player tried to barge him off the pitch, but he just ran around him and went on to score. In the Barcelona game he was even further off the pitch and still sprinted around the opposing player and went on to score. I didn't think he would manage it this time, he was so far off the pitch, but he just did, incredible!
  14. I saw my "Goal Of The Season" last night and he's done something very, very similar before. Incredible goal, incredible player.
  15. He's usually on the LamborghiniChat forum on F-chat.
