ATL_ Report post Posted December 6, 2017 I have never in my life scraped a car as much as this one . . . over the least of undulated surfaces. Seems there is a flap below the front splitter that is the culprit. So, in spite of my better judgement, it still need lowered. What is the consensus pick for moving standard suspension Huracans that need a little drop?
ibglobal Report post Posted December 6, 2017 Its the plastic lip that hangs low and scraps everywhere.. Still better then hitting the bottom of the bumper- Im sure you can have it trimmed when lowered a little bit.
sprite Report post Posted December 6, 2017 Yeah it's impossible to not scrape that plastic lip.
PCJR Report post Posted December 6, 2017 Just lower it and put skid plates on. If you keep the factory wheels, wheel spacers are a must. I used the Novitec springs and spacer combo on mine and it Made a world of difference in the looks department!
ATL_ Report post Posted December 6, 2017 So, Novitec are the first pick . . . any others?
Fortis Report post Posted December 6, 2017 I lost that lip on my SV twice, horrible design, no idea why they make it out of hard plastic rather than a flexible rubber, when it pulls out it pulls the pop rivets with it, it does more damage than help. Does anyone know where I could get some skid plates for the SV?
JohnN Report post Posted December 6, 2017 I was going to actually post and ask if it was removable on the perf. It looks bad under that forged carbon lip.
shardul Report post Posted December 6, 2017 My car lowered on springs and UPD 11mm wheel spacers

ATL_ Report post Posted December 7, 2017 Any other recommendations on the lowering situation? I really would like for it to be adjustable but, seemingly, not an option.
RedGTS Report post Posted December 7, 2017 Any other recommendations on the lowering situation? I really would like for it to be adjustable but, seemingly, not an option. The Novitec setup is adjustable as it's basically the KW HAS (height adjustable system) with Novitec's name on it. It uses an adjustable spring perch and new springs with your stock shocks. ATL_ Report post Posted December 7, 2017 Well, that solves that. Thank you.
PCJR Report post Posted December 7, 2017 Well, that solves that. Thank you. I have the KW HAS system on my new R8 and Boxster Spyder and results are nothing short of perfection!
