It's great to see an American company just throw it down and go all out. They will sell every one of them for well over MSRP. The demand will be huge.

Can they really get power down to be quick (street driving) or do you just end up burning rubber? I assume with drag radials it's a different story.

I'm not personally a fan - but I agree it's nice to see the American muscle car resurgence

I love the utter madness of this thing. Completely and utterly bonkers!!

If one would ever get one over to Europe, its quite easy to find 100+ Octane fuel at normal gas stations in Switzerland and Germany.

I think it looks great, interior is still typical Dodge but the power is beyond awesome. Too bad it will be damned near impossible to get one

I feel like you're overestimating the market for these cars.

We have a new candidate for the Mustang meme. Not the car's fault just the drivers!

Hard to say... Ive never bought or owned an American car (besides trucks) but they have a following and 300 units wont be hard to move... Also I think doing a wheelie off the lights in a 3000lb car is pretty sweet (the white trash in me coming to the surface haha)

Does that knock off the Tesla for the fastest / quickest production car ?

Its actually 3300 cars. 3000 for the US and 300 for Canada. Will depend on price but I dont think they will have any problem moving all of them for MSRP +++. Time will tell.

Yes.

Although I'm not sure it knocks off the hypercars for 1/4 mile ET or trap speed.

I love it. Utterly insane.

60ft is 1.36 seconds, that car hooks up. But I'm sure if you're rolling in a lower gear and mat the throttle it will destroy the rear tires.

Yes.

It has the holy trinity beat to the 1320 and traps speeds mirror a Veyron.

The Viper acr is an amazing car but didn't sell well. Granted the price point was higher (assuming this car is ~85k with all the desired goodies. I think LA Brit had to have been at least double that on his one/one build from what I saw when I was making a spec.

Small time dealers will try that game, but big dealers will sell them for MSRP easy. I've already seen them offered for invoice if people want to get on the allocation list.

What I like about this video and the engineers is they know they are not competing with the Lamborghini and Ferrari market.

This is a muscle car damnit

Period

Steroid muscle under metal

That thing is insane, pulls wheels off the ground bone stock! Will probably be the new widow maker once people with more money than sense get ahold of them.

Great video/commercial imo.

Not the car for me...but pretty badass regardless.

Good on Dodge for green lighting such a monster.
