  1. Correct, video is from the Isle of Man TT. 234 people have died in that race in the last 98 years including 3 in 2011 alone. Some real brass balls there!
  2. When it comes to scales Longacre Racing Products is pretty much the standard + they have been making them forever! They have several different models and also wireless versions. http://www.longacreracing.com/catalog/catlist.asp?catid=1
  3. The kids are lucky to have family like you! Speak with your lawyer but I think that unless the father gets involved with the "my kids were abducted by my ex with whom I have a joint custody arrangement" standpoint you are going to have a tough time. I have no experience actually living in Asia but I did grow up as a child in a divorced family and moved from the US to Europe with one of my parents when I was 8. Being a US citizens if there is a "health or safety" concern all that I can see the embassy staff doing is trying to arrange a visit to check up on them. If they do and everything seems to be ok with the kids I'm not sure what else they could do if this is approached from the I'm concerned about the mental state of their mother's stand point. I'm not a lawyer (my ex was a social worker though) but even in the US (where we have lawyers up the you know what and an established legal system that regularly deals with this type of stuff) it appears to be extremely difficult to take custody from a parent unless you can prove the children are being abused or the parent is mentally incapable of taking care of them. Unfortunately I'm not sure if her involvement in a questionable religious group is going to be sufficient proof of that. This is going to be a difficult on but one but you got to do what you do. What might be a better solution if you are serious about getting this resolved is finding out where the kids are at using the PI that you mentioned. Get with the father and get copies of the kids passports or have him request/apply for new ones. Try to keep a cool relationship with the mom, maybe even express interest in finding out more about the organization that she is involved with etc. etc. so that she wants to maintain contact with you. Then get on a plane with the father and go to Korea. Leave him in the hotel, visit with her and arrange to take the kids to get some ice cream or go shopping with you and your wife. Head to the hotel, pick up dad and get all of your butts on the next boat of flight out of the country. I'm understanding that the father has joint custody so he should be able to legally travel with the children and as long as their travel documents are ok no one should be able to stop them. Once you get back to the US, now it's up to the mother to fight and try to get them back and this will have to happen through an established legal system. More than likely if she is wrapped up in this cult she is not going to want to leave to come here to deal with all of that. Just something to ponder on...
  4. Isn't one of them owned by a Saudi prince or something? If so wouldn't he have a diplomatic passport ? I might be off base here but I was under the impression that holders of those received diplomatic immunity and once the law enforcement officer is made aware of it can not be detained, searched or arrested? Just seem to remember something a while back about some diplomat in Washington running over a kid while (supposedly) drunk, refusing to submit to any sobriety tests and refusing to cooperate and basically just walking off after the cops showed up. Cops could not do anything and it basically became a " lodge a formal complaint through diplomatic channels" thing, the embassy refused to yank his diplomatic immunity, he returned to his country and that was it.
  5. A translation to English for anyone interested: New Pictures Ferrari California More, more and even more! Autobild from Germany was one of the first auto-magazine's able to put the new Ferrari under the magnifying glass. Needless to say the necessary tricks were taken to give the readers the best impression of the outside of the little one. For us a reason to also give you guys a look at these pictures! As far as the exterior it is already starting to look familiar, but it remains a unique look. See the single tail lights, noticeable exhaust tips and obviously the not to be missed coupe/cabrio hatch (or whatever the proper name is for that thing). For now it is going to be a bit before we can welcome the Ferrari California in our rainy country. But thanks to our neighbors we can really enjoy this 460 hp strong Italian!
  6. The car looks nice it just all of the damn gold, much too gaudy. Looks like a pimp should be driving it. Would have looked a LOT nicer IMHO in black or that pearl white with all of the gold interior parts in white would have been really spectacular for their show car.
  7. Would have looked right at home in the last Austin powers flick being driven by Goldmember.
  8. Also looks like part of the rear end fell off, probably around 350 kmh lol. All joking aside, thats quite a feat but that car to me has very little Porsche style left in it. Kinda makes me think of a NASCAR'd version of a Porsche. All aero'd out where they have to paint on the grill and the headlights in an attempt to make it look like some type of production car.
  9. Only thing that comes to mind is, why?
