mp12c or 570s?

I have been thinking of buying a McLaren... either a 12c or the newer model 570s... anyone here driven both or owns both? that can tell me any pro's and con's of each? I don't track my cars.. so its just pleasure drives.. and of course wanting it to look bad ass... lol I guess either should only be bought if it has a warranty.. and are private shops working on these yet or just stealerships?

If it's only pleasure drives, LP570-4 any day anywhere. The 12C may be fast but it feels way too sterile as if one is playing a video game rather than driving. The 570 is a much more rewarding drive in overall feel. If it's pleasure that you seek, IMO, the original Gallardo Superleggera (pre-LP5x0) is tops. It may be slower but it's plenty fast enough and it offers the best feel. I have never owned a 12C for the afore-mentioned reason but I had driven it extensively. I was fortunate enough to have owned both the original SL and the 570.

I think he's talking about the 570 McLaren.

yes trying to get idea's on Mp12c or the McLaren 570S

if the same price get the 570, if you can save a decent number 12c all day. both great cars IMO

Not sure if this is true.... but someone said you have to bring the car to the dealer for any repair and service? that private shops don't have the tools to even do an oil change? Is this true? If so I see that a big negative...

I would go with the 570S, but it's probably a $40k bump in price.... you could also consider the 650S coupe in the same price range as well...
