  1. The violence and brutality of corsa shifts are my absolute favourite thing about the LP700. Hearing that shifts are less brutal in what's suppose to be a more hardcore version is (to me) a let down.
  2. Uhm, no.. Understeering frenzy VS pushrod suspension.
  3. So a couple of weeks into my Aventador endeavour I'm thinking about trading it in for a roadster but instead of shelling out another 100K into what's certainly a depreciating asset I wanted you guys take on the future market value of the SV roadster and the 50th anniversary roadster? Both are significantly more money (obviously) but will they hold their value or even appreciate? I've heard several people think that both cars will go up but what do you guys think? Which one (if any) will be the better investment? Input much appreciated, thanks.
  4. Arancio Argos with lots of carbon bits.
  5. At least he is contributing to a somewhat stagnant forum. Coming on here once a day just to see 0-2 posts in the ENTIRE Aventador section is that preferable? Jeez. OP thanks for posting.
  6. Most likely not. I can't get my head around it being almost twice as much as the G version when there is little to no additional labour or cost associated with production. I don't mind spending big money on my cars as long as I am getting the value I'm paying for. In the case of the G vs A carbon steering wheel it's clearly a case of vendor thinking that Aventador owners have more money and can be charged more for a similar product. I would feel like a sucker.
  7. Let down big time yes. Granted I am more picky than your average lambo owner for sure. I ended up buying a very nice 2012 Aventador with roughly 6000 miles, right color, options and full exterior carbon package. I def. don't agree that the STS sounds better than the Aventador, I'm shocked to hear this actually. I also don't think the STS is more usable, it's effin annoying to sit in at 6ft and my back was toast after 2 hours of driving. I did a 900 miles drive from dealer to home in the Aventador no probs at all. As disappointed as I was with the STS just as over the moon am I with the Aventador, amazing car. My new A:
  8. Great info guys! Thanks a lot Looks like paying a premium for '11/12+ isn't great value at all.
  9. I should've mentioned that I am only looking at the Coupe. I would have expected there to be at least minor details like cosmetically between the years and maybe more importantly gimmicks in the earlier models to be on the lookout for when buying but sounds like there's none?
  10. After having owned the 2013 Super Trofeo Stradale and being rather disappointed by it I have decided to move up to the Aventador. The STS was my first Lambo and frankly it was a let down. That special Lambo feel just wasn't there, to me it felt like any other car. I expected more. Anyway, I have my eye on a 2012 model. Can anyone tell me or at least point me in the right direction to where I can find info on the differences (if any) from 2011 through 2014 ? I'm sure there are small details but are there any major or semi-major important differences between say a 2011 and 2014? Thanks guys.
  11. They're also asking 500K.
  12. Superiority maybe? UGR is not trying to compete with a bunch of race cars. UGR is simply doing their thing, i.e. building the fastest street cars in the world. Being on top puts a bullseye on your back and that why everyone else is trying to compete with UGR.
  13. I don't think Kevin (or anyone for that matter) has used street tires as an excuse. It's just fact. Obviously street tires has its limitation compared to drag radials. UGR builds TRUE street cars, full interior and STREET tires. They just so happen to dominate everyone and everything out there to the point where other shops feel the need to built all out race cars just to keep up (or at least try). I don't think anyone here "needs" to come up with excuses. 230+mph in 1/2 miles, who the f*** cares what everyone else is doing with their dedicated shop/race cars. Even IF AMZzz should happen to catch up at some point it's STILL nothing but a pure race car and not even in the same league as UGR CUSTOMER street cars. That's what's really impressive here and the fact that you're always on here nutswinging the O.mega bandwagon is getting old bro.
