They look incredible, however I'd speculate they've been on the streets of detroit long before publicly available (atleast camouflaged).

Oh there's no doubt in my mind, because I've seen those as well. The desert camo ones and the NAIAS soec blue.

Luv the Gulf but in this case I would have changed caliper color to black to avoid clashing with blue/orange.

Any other color would distract and interrupt the lines

PTS gulf blue, orange parts are wrap...

Nice!! I thought someone had said that wasn't allowed anymore. Is it a wrap?

I want one so bad. Why do they have to take the Ferrari route :(

Build something so good that demand outstrips supply?

What should they do, tool up a big plant and make thousands? Or not make it so good so you don’t want one?

Of course I’m just having a little fun. I really want one too!

More like people buying for investments. They saw what happened with the 2005-06 ones. I remember the Ferraris guys laughing and saying 'Oh I will pick one up when they drop sub $100k'. Dudes were smoking dupe. A car built for 2 years only and levels above their normal builds, no way was it coming down to sub $100k.

I predict most GT owners, if they own other super cars, will park the GT in the garage and let it appreciate. Easily double your money. I can’t see the car being chosen from a pure dynamics standpoint over a Huracan/720S/GT3/AMGGTR. From an ivestment standpoint, ALL DAY!

What, in your personal experience, driving those 4 cars and in driving the Ford GT led you to that conclusion? How would you compare them dynamically?

I've owned 3 of the 5 and 12C/650S/675LT. Struggle to arrive at the same conclusion.

I've driven all the cars I mentioned, however I have not driven a GT (it's pretty rare we'd all agree). From speaking to various owners/potential owners, some of whom you would know by name, none of them mentioned the car as one that moved the game forward. They spoke about how beautiful it was, how exclusive it was, etc. These same owners (and myself) spoke to how insanely fast the 720S was, how much the Huracan P put a smile on our face, etc.

Pretty much what I figured. Irrelevant F-Chat "I know a guy" stuff that has nothing to do with your original half-assed conclusion. "From speaking to potential owners." Are you serious?

Just FYI, smiling and "it's fast in a straight line" will not get you hired as a vehicle dynamics engineer. Maybe bone up on what the terms you read in a magazine actually mean.

Lmao ok bud. Let me ask you a question. You hold one asset in one hand that is guaranteed to increase in value. One that’s guaranteed to decrease. Which one do you put in the shelf which one do you use? That was my point with my OP. But if you’d like to resort to insults without knowing jack shit about my experience or connections by all means.

Not sure what the value of a car has to do with its as-yet-undescribed dynamic qualities. I don't know, I think we had 9 new GTs out at our August track day so I guess those people would use the asset that is guaranteed to increase in value. The irony of your initial assessment is that the GT on track is basically the purest dynamic experience available, so attempting to sell it short as just an investment vehicle is amusing. It is superlative dynamically on a track.

I guess I was wrong and you're a big track rat then? Congrats on the connections.

Going off of this blindly (i.e. not having driven the new GT), it appears the GT is superior in driving dynamics to most cars out there. People are raving about the steering, and it's a legit race car converted to street car....not the other way around as is typical.

Visceral items such as exhaust note is a different story perhaps (which was a huge strength in the last car), but there are other cars better suited for that and it never stopped people from buying Vipers for what it's worth.

Lap times would not enter the discussion for "changing the game", IMHO. Eventually there will be a Plastic mess-06/ZR1 or GT3RS which will displace it at that (if a good ole ACR hasn't already), and will still fall short of driving dynamics.

From what I gathered, the new GT is competing more with hyper cars than entry level L, F, and P cars. I don't see how the FGT could sell otherwise as it would lose traditionally to the European exotics by being a Ford all things being equal.
