  1. BTW i have a 94VT Red/Tan with NO damage history if you're looking
  2. bonedoc, The fact that your previous post dosen't attack me back tells me a lot about the kind of person you are, it shows me credibility. I just hate when people get on the internet to publicly bash a dealer, in your case it may be justified. The only ones that know the true story are you and MCI. It sounds like it just may be miscomunication, i hope it all works out between both of you.
  3. It sounds to me like they made some effort to warn you of previous damage, yes paintwork does indicate some sort of damage history, but i'll bet you were willing to live with it because of the price. I'll bet you were happy with the car the whole time you had it, it only became a problem when your deal fell apart... This should have been discussed between you and MCI in private, it's a sleezy move to try to bash them on a public forum, fortunetly for MCI, they have a good reputation and i'll bet the majority of the readers here know which side of the story to believe .

  8. Mine only triggers the "error" light when the battery is a little low on start up. After the engine has been running a few minutes i just shut it off and restart it and the light is gone. i now always keep a trickle charger on my car if i go more than a few days without driving and have not had any problems since.
  9. Do you insert the wires with the ignition off, then switch it to on? Wait a couple minutes...? This whole jumping wires thing scares me a little, don't want to cook anything.
  10. Will this work with the battery shut-off behind the seat or do you physically have to disconnect the cables from the battery?
  11. I just went out to the garage and measured. The door fully opened is 6'6", and it is 5'3" back for the front bumper. Sounds like you'll be fine.
  12. Thanks Jay, I'll give it a try. The lights have been on for a couple hundred miles, so i guess they're not going out on their own. My car has only two cats, and they removed themselves After putting the Larini exhaust on the cats started to deteriate, i would actually get little pieces of that honeycomb-like material spitting out the exhaust, i don't think much is left cause the car has gotten ungodly loud.
  13. Hey Jay, I have a 94 VT, i'm coming up on two years soon. My car has had two oil changes, i had to replace one door strut, and one melted back up light (before the exhaust was replaced). The car has been pretty much bullet proof! Funny thing is, when i bought the car i was deciding between a Diablo and a 512TR, everyone said "don't buy the Lambo it's a maintanence mightmare!" i chose the Diablo anyway and am glad i did. My brother helped my decision, he said " Greg, are you crazy? i'd rather have that Lambo on a tow truck than that Ferrari running". They are great cars.
  14. I have a 94 VT, Larini exhaust, no cats. I just installed K&N air filters and now i'm getting L&R check engine lights (2 blinks, lean fuel mixture). Isn't the ECU automatically supposed to adjust the fuel mixture to compensate for the added airflow, or have i exceeded the limits of the system? Anybody out there an expert on these systems? Thanks Greg
