HELP! Gallardo O2 Sensor Replacement/Solutions For CEL 1-5,6-10
DeltronZero replied to goahead's topic in Archived Content
Are you using o2 spacers? -
How hard do you guys drive your Murci?

I drive my G like I bought it. That's why I stole it. -
Ouch. My neck hurts.
-
Were you doing this with a cold motor? I'm not sure if the Gallardo does this, but my NSX wouldn't go over 7k RPMs until the engine was warmed up.
-
Cool. I want to wait until September/October to pull the trigger. Let me know if that's not too late.
-
I was thinking about replacing my e55 with a c63. The c63 looked pretty quick there.
-
Haha I like the Call of Duty background music.

I highly recommend this setup. No CEL. Very little drone while cruising. Thank you Brian of Supercar Specialists.

You are absolutely right, which saved me quite a bit. It was the TO bearing and the clutch.
-
It sure can be - on the 6 speeds I guess. Going to have the clutch replaced. Hopefully all I need in addition is a seal fixed.
-
TO bearing over $2k??? Just parts without labor? That can't be.
-
Exactly. I'm thinking if the clutch is

I'm guessing it's the throwout bearing. I started the car up this morning after everything had cooled down and the car shifted through the gears without any problem. I'm guessing as soon as things heat back up I'd have the same issues. Brian from Supercar Specialists is picking the car up in the next day or two. Hopefully this won't be too big of a repair. The good thing is that I'll have him throw some test pipes on while he's got the back opened up.

Driving yesterday the clutch on my '04 6 speed became useless quickly. Luckily I was able to force my car into second gear and get home. I still have normal pedal pressure I believe. It just seemed to happen in a very short amount of time, which makes me believe it might not be a worn clutch. Any idea what could be wrong?

You'll also have better gearing and the front lift option with the '06. I was in the same boat and ended up going for the cheaper '04.
