Why not post it on an Aston website where they might give a fcuk..........................

New V8 astons are as interesting as Toyotas......though Toyotas hold their value better.

How much did the setup run you?

Who did the work?

That is one thing that turned me off when I test drove the V8 vantage for a couple hours. It's underpowered as shit.

You're better of buying an XKR and saving 20k or so.

Vantage V8 is one of the best looking front engine rear drive sports cars around, if you can get it to perform at the level of the Gallardo or F430 it would be a real winner IMHO.

AM is doing it with the Vantage V12

Respect!

The AM is one of my favourite cars, as a Kid living in England, it was the idol of many of my friends. We used to love those old Vantage cars, living not 10 minutes from Newport Pagnell, i used to see them from time to time driving around, lovely memories.

My brother used to own the V600 Vantage, that thing was a ^($^%^^ brute, way over the top & monstreous amounts of Torque, My Dad currently owns the DB9 an it's a fantastic looking motor.

The V12 Vanquish S is a car i would love to add in the garage.

Conragts on the power you make, that is a hell of a job getting those numbers.

Is this a MY '06-08 or the "new" Vantage for '09?? Aston has made several changes, including increase in displacement from 4.3 to 4.7 liters that bump up hp/torque in the '09 Vantage, not nearly close to these numbers but IMO where the vehicle should have been in '06 when it was introduced. Manufacturer's claim for '09 is about 420hp and 370 lb/ft of torque.

It is a 2007 and put down 305HP and 240TQ stock. It was slow but feels better now. Kit is from ESX Motorsports.

The individual who owns ESX motorsports came by our shop a couple months ago with the vehicle. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go for a ride, however a few people who I spoke with said the car is nothing short of impressive for what it is. Unfortunately from what I hear we will not see the Vantage RS (the Vantage w/ the V12) here stateside.

Always loved the look of the Astons. I never thought anyone did any upgrades to them

so this was a nice surprise. Thanks for posting.

I love Aston Martin's. This is interesting to see because I had one here with the same kit on it and it wasn't running well, had to make a few changes to get it to run right and it put down right around 480whp on the dyno dynamics and had the same curve as your dyno run, AFR was 11.8 and climbed to 12.2 in the top rpm range.

That is interesting. What changes did you make? Did you remap the Maf voltage in the Perfect Power piggyback ECU or adjust the throttle body injector pulse width?
