For sale add: https://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/6003852391.html

I test drove it today. Pulls hard, pretty addicting. In my research it looks like the only thing it's really missing is the fuel pump basket to make it easier to change the fuel filter after running lots of E85. He got it with the wrap on it, and previous owner rated the black paint as a 7.5/10 under the wrap. He doesn't have any of the stock parts, but that doesn't really bother me too much.

What else should I be looking for? Any concerns?

An orange gtr and an orange G? Planning to keep both? I think it would all come down to pricing. Trans would be my concern on a modded gtr.

I own a heavily modded GT-R. Tim Bailey is a great tuner and most likely has the tune to protect the tranny. The current power levels are what you stop at without engine and transmission rebuild. I would look at the bell housing. These tend to get some failures around the mid 30k mile mark. However, I am not sure how you check to see if it is going bad. My bell housing failed, but I was at 850 awhp / 750 wtq at the time.

Being local is the only good thing. Price not so great, wrap, (hiding flaws?).

Dba (12 or newer)will be a better car to DD.

Prices are coming down. Incentives for newer models will be coming with the worst sales this last year since the gtr came out.

Big picture...do you think the stock trans is a big issue?

I'd have the Nissan dealership pull the computer data on launches, history, etc.

That's only going to pull so much. That shit is easily erasable. I would steer clear of this car.

Is that due to the trans? Or any other reasons?

Curious so I can apply the logic toward other GTRs that are also listed for sale.

There are links out there on how to erase the history.

I would say both. I've had a few friends with GTR's so I know a little bit about them but I'm not an expert. Also giving some of my personal opinion here since you asked for opinions. :icon_mrgreen:

The main thing that I've noticed with a lot of cars is that if there's one thing that's been neglected, (in this case, the paint), there's other things that have more than likely been neglected. You stated the body was a 7.5 out of 10 but the car only has 26K miles. That tells me that it was neglected and not detailed, and was more than likely a toy for someone, especially if they went out and wrapped it. If it wasn't detailed, what else was skipped out on? You said the car was modified. Did the owner thrash it every day? If he did, it could have been erased and you'd never have any clue about it.

IDK, for the price, it's awesome that you have a heavily modified car, but at the same time you could spend the same amount of money if not less to find one in better shape.

thinking about selling mine, 2014 fbo e85. car is mint.

Unless it has a ton of miles it's probably out of my price range. Budget tops out at $60k.

I see. Only 11k miles. Good luck. a great car for the money.

Yea, I imagine you'll be asking something in the 70's. Sadly, outside of my budget. Appreciate it though! GLWS.

Why is the paint a 7.5 out of 10? That alone would worry me a lot.

The paint on a 2010 GTR comes from the factory as a 7.75 out of 10 lol.

Also, OP, this does not seem like a particularly great deal.
