Oakley Design Huracan Dyno

So, as per the thread in the Huracan board:

Oakley Design Huracan Dyno: 550whp/540Nm

And it hit 215mph at the limiter.

This car. If you follow through the thread, picked up a frankly incredulous 111whp/104nm. Before the flames of judgment slay me - I was similarly dubious - some pointers:

- The first dyno run (439whp) was done in September with middling temperatures

- The car was bone stock, with 283mi on the odometer

- Those 283mi were done on Saudi sand water rubbish petrol, with 122 degree weather with high humidity and at sea level - a splash of 98 was added for that run

- This second run/tuning session was done yesterday, at night, probably 32 degree weather, on exclusively 98

- Performance modifications are far lighter wheels, freer flowing titanium muffler, reprogrammed ECU & TCU, ported throttlebodies, enlarged air intake scoops, straightened airbox channeling, more effective heat evacuation through rear end (opened out diffuser), larger scoops for water radiators

Boom.

Thank you for sharing but that 4XXHP run is garbage and not even remotely accurate for a stock Huracan. This is tested on a mustang dyno so it could be a good comparison to another mustang dyno from another Huracan BUT they will vary a bit because of conditions and filter settings for the chart. They would be close however so lets hope we can find one soon. It appears Oakley did a bunch of fluff to get this customer happy in my opinion. I'm sorry but I believe it to be true.

Look at this 2012 STS LP570 Gallardo dyno that has 570HP stock, completely stock. On a mustang dyno it hits 509WHP so that 400HP dyno run you have for the Huracan isn't even remotely possible.

After all those mods to the Huracan it make supposedly 40 HP more than a stock LP570 which is supposedly is rated for STOCK from the factory. I hope Oakley Design offers another way to test like 60-130mph so we can see a better comparison.

This is FikseSTS dyno below on a similar Mustang Dyno. I'm sorry if I'm hijacking the thread, I'm just sharing information.

Not at all, appreciate the honesty, and to be frank the 439whp seemed extremely low - there's a bone stock LP550-2 in Saudi that registered 470-480whp, though I don't now on which type of dyno.

I cannot comment without being there and being involved, and I tried to see why it would register such a low figure as per my observations - Saudi petrol is bad, but to that extent? I don't know. And it is a fresh engine, but again, I doubt such a degree of power loss would be involved.
