  1. UPDATE: Now asking: $183K USD. Open to reasonable offer. Now of interest to Americans also! That is $228K CAD, which is now a 25% drop to USD. If the CAD price looks high, keep in mind that Canadian cars sell for a premium, just like they do in Australia, and other countries. Due to the very recent currency swing, the USD price is in line with other 2012 LP-560s selling on autotrader.com in the USA. Given the condition, warranty, features and options, mileage, 560, one-owner, non-molested (all original), no-story Gallardo. There can easily be a $20K difference in the price of a used G, usually for a good reason. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update. Now that the US dollar is worth 25% more than a Canadian dollar, buy my car! You save like $55,000 on my asking price. That is significant moola! Make a move before the currency swings back and FOREX works against you. Look, whether you buy my car, or some other Canadian Gallardo does not matter, just be aware that Canadian G prices have now dropped 25% for American buyers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Someone will get a great car.... And bringing in a Canadian car into the USA does not require any changes to the car. So nice, no hassle import. Spring is coming! Upgrade your car now. PS. Corvette is now sold, and a new 2015 Z51 Stingray is in the garage. (can't edit the title of the thread.....)

  5. Almost as weird as your avatar. Actually less weird than that. LMAO.
  6. You are obligated if its an accident claim in some jurisdictions, and if it is over a certain value. But not for stuff you fix yourself..... If I bought that car and this kind of damage was undisclosed, and then found the damage and this thread, I would crucify the seller.
  7. LOL! You meant to say 1 year plus 1 week, right?
  8. Was at the dealer today. There is a long wait list, so I will take another look when the backlog clears in a year. So the short answer is No.
  9. Hey Rhyno! Long time no see. Now we know why yours does not chirp! Working on a solution....
  10. Update: After calling a ton of dealerships on both sides of the border this is what I finally found out. All USA Gallardos that can chirp (ie. that have the optional alarm system) chirp. They come that way from the factory. All Canadian Gallardos do NOT chirp. If you have a Canadian car that does, it is a USA car that was imported and has the OEM car alarm. So, now that this mystery is half-solved, need to figure out how to program the car to enable the Canadian Gallardo to chirp on lock. And that is proving to be a big problem....
  11. Hi Jeff! I take it that is NOT the same one as in the first photo in this thread, since that does not look like a bell housing to me. Or is it ? (I get confused by Alien technology on these imports) So is there actually 4 drain points on the LP560/550 as follows? 1. Oil tank (tank at back of car). 2. Oil pan/sump at bottom of engine. Front bolt shown in first pic in thread. 3. Biscuit shown in first pic in thread. 4. Biscuit that Jeff mentions in mid bottom of timing cover next to bell housing. Do all MY of the 560 have that one, since neither I nor Turbo50Mike are aware of it? Or are #3 and #4 above the same thing? If there are indeed 4 drain points, does anyone have a distant photo of exactly where that one is when the car is on the hoist? PS Good catch Mike about the sideboard coolant plug. Not a good one to remove when the engine is HOT~!
  12. Yes. All Gallardos with the alarm system have these 2 buttons behind the driver's seat. And as a confirmation that the siren is actually functional, when you stick your arm into the car thru an open window while it is armed, the siren goes off. I can now confirm that it looks like only cars with the alarm system are *capable* of chirping. That now explains why some owner's cars do not chirp. But many with the alarm system should chirp, but are failing to do so. I am escalating this to Lambo corporate now, but that could be a long wait for a response....
