I have occasionally checked with them. Thinking rather than larger dealer I am going to try and get something from one of the forum members. I question the dealers knowledge sometimes....

I know what a compression test is I was just wondering if this has been a common issue on these cars or just a general practice to confirm the car being ok.

Is low compression sometimes a issue on these cars?

I am just trying to be extra cautious with the clutch. When I bought my Aston I did a PPI from the dealer and they said everything was OK. And then I found out I had to put a clutch in it shortly there after. Come to find out they were a new dealer and did not know how to read their scan tool correctly. The guys on the Aston for him in the UK actually got me straightened out.

Brian so the black car will need the clutch replaced in the near future?

Brian thanks! I am still trying to decide if I want a lower or little bit higher of a miles car. I do like the thought of something a little higher possibly. Think I do want at least a 2005 with the lift.

I defiantly don't want the cheapest one for sure. I think I actually want one with a little miles so all the little bugs have Been fixed. Any concern other than clutch life when miles gets between 20 to 35k etc?

Ok perfect... It seems the prices from the 2004 to 2006 is fairly minimum considering.

It sounds like pretty much the same as my Aston. My budget was a 2004 gallardo but it seems like most are saying at least 05 for the lift and 06 even better. Is there a link with comparisons etc? Other than lift are the 04 05 cars that bad?

Can someone let me know if there is a comparison list or new owner check list on the site? Maybe the variations in the early model cars to the later one? Almost like a buyers guide?

Hello hopefully I am posting this in the correct area. I am in Charlotte nc and am in the market for a gallardo. I am in the middle of completing the sale of my Aston Martin vantage. I want to learn as much as I can to make sure I don't get the wrong car. Looking forward to it! Any local guys to me here? I know UGR is down the street...
