Murcielago PL Report post Posted February 6, 2018 I apologize in advance for the spelling. I am the owner of Murcielago 40th Anniversary and I have a problem. After turning off the power in the engine compartment , I have to set the data and time each time. Is it normal? If that`s the topic, I`m sorry
Stimpy Report post Posted February 6, 2018 I apologize in advance for the spelling. I am the owner of Murcielago 40th Anniversary and I have a problem. After turning off the power in the engine compartment , I have to set the data and time each time. Is it normal? If that`s the topic, I`m sorry Perfectly normal. But stop touching those buttons to set the time. If you keep touching them, they will literally fall off and they are expensive to replace! Other than the parts to make the car go forward, turn and stop, the rest of the car is just for show and not actual use. Don't use the sunglass holder on top, don't roll the window down and shut the door, don't use the headlights, don't use the ashtray, don't use the folding mirrors, don't even look at the front lift button, and for god sakes don't set the time!! Just gently press the other button to switch to a different display so the date/time are not showing. You don't need that display to tell you the time anyway. Murcielago PL Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Ok I will not touch these buttons any more but is this a normal symptom in all Murcielago?
Stimpy Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Ok I will not touch these buttons any more but is this a normal symptom in all Murcielago? I already answered that question. If you cut the power off to the whole car, the time is going to reset just like it does on your microwave!

tpamurci Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Yep happens to me in my '03, and yep, I'm missing one of those f'ing buttons; Lambo only seems the entire instrument cluster for thousands, so once they disappear you're screwed. yellomurci Report post Posted February 11, 2018 Wow super clean and good looking, noticed the head lights are not fogged up on the inside, have you had them cleaned or have the lights not been used much?
Murcielago PL Report post Posted February 11, 2018 The lamps were in bad condition. The top was misted up. For a long time I was looking for a company in Poland that would clean it and finally found it. I paid 600€ for a set of lamps. sprite Report post Posted February 11, 2018 Nice car. I would only disconnect the power if you don't plan on driving the car for a few weeks.
Destructo Report post Posted February 11, 2018 Love the 40th myself, such a neat car. Granted, not without it’s issues (as mentioned ) but still a fun car!
cuhuba Report post Posted February 13, 2018 Why don’t you just hardwire a battery tender plug. I do that with my murci and my other vehicles. It’s a lot easier than reprogramming the radio settings and other stuff
